What was the worst year of your life? For me, the worst year was 2024. I was verbally bullied and teased at school, and my family bullied me too. I would come home from school and cry, but finally, those days are over.

There was a year when I became unemployed and I was in a graduate program to get a MS in Computer Science. I was in my 30s and wanted to change careers.
The program was very challenging and I was not sure that I would be able to pass all the courses. I had to maintain a 3.0 to graduate. For the whole time I was there I was literally one exam away from getting kicked out.
I was going into mid terms when out of the blue my father died. He was onjly 70 and I never thought of him as old.

Half of 2008 was a disaster thanks to an abusive man that came into my life and then would not go away, no matter what I said or did. It's a long story, but it ended up with him doing prison time.

Last year. My dad died suddenly and if that wasn't tragic enough, I'm the one that had to tell my mom.
