You wake up to texts from 5+ different people. Who do you answer first?

I'm mentally ranking everyone who texted me...

Start at the bottom (chronological order)

Start at the top (reverse chronological order)

Read them all and see which one is most important/most time sensitive

Look at who they're from and pick the most important person first

I'm not even touching any of that until I've had some coffee

Every day I usually receive plenty of texts and emails, and I read them all, and then I decide what action is required if any.

GAG's is no different, and I usually read them the order they are sent to me.

But how I deal with them depends on how important they are, DM's are my priority, and they usually need a reply.

Then some texts just need reading or a quick reply so these are easily sorted, leaving the messages inviting me to answer questions.

I used to answer all the invitations, but unfortunately my MHO percentage dropped very low, though I never considered this important when I first joined GAG's, and also I don't have the available time of previously to give the questions the time they deserve.

Nowadays I still answer invitations from all my friends, but I don't answer all of them, just the ones I feel I can give a good opinion, or perhaps it's an important question that needs answering.

Check 'em all and see if there's anything urgent. Answer any that are quick and simple next, and then deal with the ones from closer people that may take more time/require more back and forth

I start at the top and open to read them all. Then respond to the most important or "time sensitive" one first, after that the rest of them until I'm done. Although what I really wanna do is way too many texts, forget you all.

Depends if any are an emergency. If none… then I move on. I hate texting.
if I remember, I call. Otherwise…text is meaningless to me.
