When my cousin wanted to know if my other cousin was pregnant during her pregnancy a few years ago, he asked if she planned on consuming any alcohol for dinner that night.

That was his way of asking about her pregnancy without actually asking her if she is pregnant.

I did not know she was pregnant until she told me so I gave her a dietitian's email address thinking she had neglected her fitness routine, when she was as healthy as a rabbit, she was just pregnant and that was why her stomach was bigger than normal.

Sometimes it is difficult to tell if she is just overweight as opposed to being pregnant. I usually do not ask and see if she brings it up.
