I have only 3 good friends that I know I can count on to have my back and they know they can count on me. I know people who have so called friends that talk behind their backs. That's not what friends do not real friends anyways. Friends stand up for you when you're not there to defend yourself.
When we have good news they’re one of the first people we wanna celebrate with
And if one of us is down he takes priority.
Because the ultimate dream includes both of us succeeding.
I only have one friend that fits this bill. And I support another one that I’ve known for a little less time but we’re also pretty tight.
Most of my general friends are distant ones, we serve each other’s purposes for social interaction and such But ultimately we’re very superficial. Not really caring beyond the formalities
A friendship, by default, is a safe space for two people to share good and bad times, a space in which you know, without question, that you have each other's backs. It's a comfort zone in which you grow familiar with each other's gifts and flaws, lifting each other up... not dragging each other down.
Its simple. It's also everything that you know to be true and kind. As well as near non-existent. No, it doesn't make most bad, its just the mix that you encounter in this world.
A good friend will not only help you carry the body. He will also help you bury it. This is of course just metaphorical and not meant to be literal but I think you get the idea.

Somebody that will be there when everyone else bails out.
Valuing them as a person, not for what you can get out of them.
If he/she walks across red lights, the person will go to police station to confess and pay the fine!
