Is it wrong to physically fight back against an abusive dad?

Next time my dad gets violent towards me and my mom I am kicking him in the balls and punching him in the face. I don't care anymore.

You should call the police 🚓 right away when he gets that way.

I went through the same thing when I was 14 and my stepdad used to beat up my Mom.

He would take her outside on the concrete, hold her by her hands, spin her around and let go and she would hit the concert

He was 6 ft.+ tall and a big man. I was a tiny 14 year old girl but I would get right up in his face and dare him to hit me instead of my mom.

The cops came and took him to jail every Friday night and he was back in the morning outside begging to come in the house.
Rinse and Repeat!🙄

Like I said there's better ways to go about it but just remember you swing on him he has the right to swing on you and that's what you don't want so think about it before you do it

That's a really tough place to be in. My only concern would be that he escalates the physicality and retaliates with greater abuse.

If you are going to hit him you need to be certain that you can really ring his bell.
