Just because I’m mentally disabled they think I will never marry never have kids or live a normal life but it’s so mild no one can notice. I actually can have kids and have a real relationship and be married one day I’m able to change for the better and control my impulses. Why would they think so differently? We talk about having kids in our family get together and completely ignore me when they talk about having kids and they say to their kids if my daughter were to become pregnant and if her nephew were to have kids completely ignoring the fact that I am able to marry and have children one day. What’s wrong with them and why are they so abelist?

If you are indeed in the age group 30-35, the it seems that your parents have old information that was probably given to them in the years where doctors and scientists were given the information that if you have a mental disability, you would be incapable to judge for yoursel or to be a "normal" person.
Things have changed since the 80's and early 90's and science has made leaps forward. What was once a fact has become a fiction with today's progress in medicine.
This progress has not yet reached your family that still believes what they were told 30 years ago.
That’s why they ignore me and treat me like a vegetable and ignore me when we talk about having kids?
They would be the only ones that could give you a reply but it could be one reason. Naturally, they will deny it because if they agree, that would mean that they realize they are wrong.
Because you are too stupid to understand your situation
So they will think I’m retarded too?
