What does it mean when someone unfriends you but doesn’t block you?

Does it mean they don't think we are friends anymore? What else could that action mean?

They no longer see you as a friend
They had too many friends and just clearing up their friend list to people they talk to most. doesn't mean you aren't friends
You just aren't someone they speak to much so why keep you as a friend?
You most likely did or said something to upset them enough to unfriend you but not enough to block you
