Girls: do you always feel bad when you friendzone a guy?

I don't think you should feel terrible. This is part of life. I never feel bad but then again I don't really put men in a friendzone... it's either I like him romantically or I don't. I'm really a girls girl and don't see how men and women can be "just friends".

The only guy I tried to be friends with would always get drunk and then text me calling me a douchebag and putting Facebook status saying "why don't girls like the nice guy" stuff like that.. its annoying and I don't deserve it so that is why I don't do the friendzone thing.

Yes, definitely. I mean, if I was in their shoes I'd be kinda upset, so I feel bad for them. But sometimes you've got to make those tough choices, you obviously can't go out with them just because you feel bad; that would be a horrible basis for a relationship. So while you might feel terrible right now, don't worry, she'll be alright in time :)

I actually think it's more cruel if you leave the guy hanging without letting him know that you just see him as a friend. I'm an honest person, and if I think that a guy friend of mine is starting to feel differently toward me, I show (usually through my actions more than my words) that we're better off as friends just so he doesn't get the wrong idea.

ive done it alot..it doenst hurt. I found the guy I want to be with forever so the rest of my guy frined are stuck in the friendzone with me:P..my bfs the only guy that gets past that friend zone..after uve done it a couple times it doesn't hurt

other.. ya I do for a little bit but it all depends how he takes it and how hard he takes it for me to feel really bad and take longer to move on and hopefully not be awkward with him later..

no I don't feel bad. sometimes people make better friends than boyfriends/girlfriends. don't take it personal. they still like you just not in that way

i only feel bad if I truly know the guy well and know he's a good person and I hope he finds someone else who likes him. if not, then I don't feel bad I don't care, I just hope he doesn't start acting like a bitch now that he's been rejected

yea I do feel bad. but if your not attracted to the person, what can you do? I don't think its healthy to force a relationship, especially one out of pity.
