Should I give my crush a white teddy bear for his birthday/Christmas ?

I used to like him in junior high and now were both juniors and last year when I had a boyfriend, he started to hang out with us in PE and at lunch which I thought was quite suspicious and weird considering the fact that I barely talked to and knew him before lol.. I'll call him MSM and well, I'm not with my ex anymore and its been months and I'm over him and just recently this school yr, I actually got to befriend MSM and I found out that he's a really nice and awesome friend/guy.. we really are great friends now and we always smile whenever we catch each others glances.. I did admit to liking him and I guess that's what made us become friends ? Lol I don't know but he really means something to me and I was wondering if it'd be all right to give him a teddy bear on the last day before Christmas break as a birthday gift too since his birthday is around that time.. do you think it'd be weird ? Because I started liking him again and I have my reasons this time and I just wanna show him how much of a friend he's been to me so.. would it be corny or something or should I just go for it ? What should I tell him too if I were to give it to him then ? He's friends with my ex but I don't give a damn if I were to give it to MSM in front of him lol.. I'm 16 and he's turning 17 by the way and he's Japanese and I'm filipino.. lol just thought I'd put that in there

You should definitely give him the bear, it's not weird at all, and on top of that, buy him like a manly watch or something. Trust me, he'll like it. :) Hope I helped.
