Should I give my crush a gift?

There's this guy I like and I think he might like me back. He's always sweet to me and helps me carry heavy equipment (I'm a musician and so is he, we play in the same church band) and he does a lot of other things that makes me think he likes me. But he's shy and I am too so we don't talk a whole lot, but when we do I can really tell he likes me. The only thing is, I've been sending all the wrong signals to him so I'm sure he has no clue I like him back.

So I was wondering if I should give him a gift (probably food like cookies or something) under the premise of thanking him for helping me all the time, but also to somehow show him I'm interested in him. Is this a good idea and will it get the point across?

It's a good idea but it might not get the point across. When giving him the cookies, you should ask him if he would be interested in practicing some time. Get his number and let the courtship begin!
