To what extent should your boyfriend/girlfriend be able to "touch" other men/women?

how far should the girl or guy be able to go as what is most acceptable for you when they touch the opposite gender?

I know this girl, she has a boyfriend who is loyal to her and avoids touching other women for more then a very brief hug. however he has a girlfriend that sits on her guy friends laps for extended pariods, lets them kiss her cheek,forehead and neck. perhaps lets her touch further but that is as far as what is known. she sits with male friends with their arms around her shoulders etc.

I think that is too far, the most I would be able to accept from a girl who is supposed to be mine is brief hugs (3 seconds max).

I don't know any women that would be okay if there boyfriends, letting a female friend sit on their lap, while he kissed her neck. This guy has no self respect, for don't dumping her already. Nor does she have any respect for him.

A handshake or brief hug hello and or good bye is fine. If the girl is dealing with someone from a culture that kisses on the cheek then that would be understandable. If something horrible happens like the death of a loved one, holding them as they grieve is of course also acceptable.

A kiss on the neck is not acceptable in any culture that I am aware of.

that's it. everything else is completely unacceptable.

and girls who do anything else have no class nor integrity.

A girl who claims she doesn't LIKE me but is friends with me because she already has a boyfriend, is constantly touching me. She'll hug me sit on me etc..she's even played with her boobs while staring at me. I don't mind it but sometimes I wish she didn't just for the fact that she has a boyfriend

The extent should only be limited to a hug, and contacts should be by hand when dealing with the opposite gender.

Here is my rule of thumb. If you're not willing to do it in front of your partner (kiss/hug/whatever) it's shady.
