Could a guy change his mind after rejecting you, or is he just being friendly?

I was really into this guy and he seemed interested back then he said it would be better if we were friends, he said he didn't want to lead me on. We hadn't seen each other after that but we would still talk every now and again. I saw him this Friday and he asked me how I was doing, flirted with me, kept touching me (not creepily or inappropriately), and would watch me every time I would go to get water or walk across the room. He also hugged and gave me a high five then hugged me again before he left and told me very seriously to keep in touch.

Yea, I suppose it's possible. There are too many factors for it not to be possible, so unless you know his whole story, which I'm guessing you don't since it doesn't seem like you guys hang out or talk much, it's really not known why he rejected you in the first place.

Keep in contact with him, get his number, text him every so often, make plans to hang out, see what happens.

As for what the guy said underneath me, again, you just don't know what was going on that he said no at first. I wouldn't judge anything on the rejection without knowing the reason.

Sure, a guy can sometimes change his mind after rejecting a girl. However, the more important question is why you would want to be with such a guy. Wouldn't you rather be with a guy who always saw what a great person you were and had high interest in you from day one?
