A nudity question regarding being comfortable

I have a sister and we are basically best friends and very open with conversation and whatever with each other. One thing we really don't have an issue with is nudity around each other, and this stems all the way back to being comfortable taking baths with each other as kids. Girl I am seeing has an issue with my sister and I being close friends as well as siblings and I think she's almost jealous. Then somehow the topic of nudity came up and she is just off the deep end about it, and I think it's really stupid. Is anyone here comfortable seeing an opposite sex sibling nude? I just don't think anything of it ever when it happens.

My brother is only 14 months younger than me, and like all young teenagers going through puberty,our bodies were changing and we both had a natural curiosity about hair, and my brother's little weenie wasn't so little any more, and my breasts were developing.We just stood there looking at each other for several minutes staring at each others body.Then we put our clothes back on before our parents got home.

We didn't see any thing wrong with it.After all ,we were family, and in many families one family member seeing another family member nude or semi nude is no big deal at all.

Now that I am 20 and my brother is 18 we still enjoy going nude It feels great to go around the house and the backyard wearing no clothes.Once in awhile one of my girlfriends drops by and the three of us take off our clothes and hang out.

Maybe she assumes y'all might be a bit too close? I mean, I know there are some siblings who are extremely close, without having romantic feelings for each other, but I think nudity is such a sexual thing nowadays that people connect nudity with being sexual. I mean, I don't see why she would have any problem with it a part from that. Because, I mean, unless somebody wants to sleep with their sibling it's no different than 2 little children being bathed together. I mean, personally, I wouldn't care if either of my brothers or sister was naked, because I don't want to have sex with them, so I don't connect any sexual or otherwise feelings with them. Same as if I saw a parent, friend, or stranger naked. As long as there's nothing sexual going on, I don't see why she should have a problem with it.

Since we are taught that nudity is indecent, inappropriate and dirty, so "shame" has been attached with it. At home we don't like to see our siblings/parents etc nude because of mindset which doesn't differentiate between sexuality and nudity. Most of the guys and girls (here I am referring to brothers/sisters/fathers/moms) have seen and do see nude opposite gender, whether in real life, accidentally, in movies or magazines. However when it comes to family member, we all cry and term it shame.
I personally feel that when bro and sis are too close and friendly, they see other other nude when they were kids, discuss all subjects under the sun, including sex and nudity, they are aroused in the beginning but gradually compromise it. At this stage nudity becomes asexual.

I only had brothers so I can't really answer the question directly. But my sister-in-law lived with me and my wife (her sister) right after we got married and she and I pretty much had a brother/sister relationship. The three of us were naked around the apartment all the time. None of us ever gave it any thought. She even walked in on us having sex SO many times, like to get a hair dryer, brush, makeup, etc., but we just learned to ignore us as she wasn't disturbing us. When we had kids, we had a son then a daughter a little more than 3 years apart. Nudity was normal in our household until each of them stated to go through puberty. But by then, they knew what the other gender had (or didn't have) so it made the sex talks a lot easier. I think your girlfriend is taking this a wee bit too hard.

Since childhood I have been practicing nudity, initially partially, later completely. I had one younger sister and one elder brother. Both were casual in dressing. My mom used to stay without shirt and bra in Summer, so no big deal. With the passage of time we all became indifferent to clothes, I mean sometimes we brothers would wear shorts only while sister stayed in pantie (with or without bra). When she grew up (around 13/14) she became more liberal like me. My elder brother shifted to another city, so at home we were three members. Mom used to go to work and in her absence I never put on clothes even in presence of sister. Now I live separately with wife, she too is nudist. We all are comfortable and happy.

I read what every one said so I thought I would way in on it and say about me. First I am a guy I am the last of fore kids it goes like this I have a older sister then a other brother and a younger sister. When we were kids- my big brother and I thought nothing of stripping down to jump in the pond, it wasn't a big deal, nudity never crossed our minds as something to be embarrassed about.

That lasted until about the time I started to hit puberty (for me, that was around 11)- then I sort of became uncomfortable about being naked around male family members or them being naked around me. I still feel that way to a certain extent- I wouldn't freak or anything if it accidentally happened, but it certainly wouldn't be a comfortable moment and I definitely try to avoid it when I can.

It's a bit weird for me to think about really, being naked in front of my brother...

i would never NEVER be comfortable seeing my brother in the nude or vice versa, there's just no way...BUT I do understand how for some people it could be totally fine, I've lived in places where nudity is no big deal among families, just depends on your culture/up bringing, there's nothing inherently *wrong* about either way
