Is it weird that I hang out with my family more than my friends?

Like on the weekends I would mostly go places with my family and not my friends. I hang out with my friends at school obviously I don't hang out with my sisters at school but on the weekends I hang out with my parents and siblings. Is that weird?

I don't think it is. I do the same thing, usually. I enjoy being around my family, I see my friends every day at school and if they want to do something on the weekend, that's fine, but I really enjoy the time with my family. I will usually go see my grandparents on the weekend, too, they are really important to me and live about an hour away so I can't just go whenever to see them, I'll take Saturday to see them. My friends understand that I enjoy my family time and never say anything against it. I'll even tell people that I won't babysit on Saturdays because I like to spend time with my family. Not weird at all. Family is really important.

That's not weird I do the exact same thing. I have an older brother and sister and they are starting there new life with there significant others and babies on the way so what ever chance I get to spend with them I love its better then being around friends sometimes.

Nope not weird at all. I hang out with my cousins most weekends, then I just hang out with my friends during the week. It's good to have a good relationship with your family because a lot of people aren't that lucky so I just try to have as much fun with them as I can.

In no way is that weird and never let anyone cheat you out of that opportunity to hang out with your parents and do it as often as you can. There may be a day you will end up without them. I'd do anything to hand out with my Mom and Dad and Grand parents again.
