When frightening kids at Halloween how far can you go? Lets assume the age that believes in Santa.

So my patients mom I see her in the morning and after work. When I'm clocking out she starts talking about all her daughter medical issues , the lack of insurance coverage, her upcoming surgeries. No offense but I do not care. This child has been like this for the past 17 years. She had the option for abortion but didn't take it. Anyways, yesterday I cut her off and said there is somewhere important I need to be and left🤣. She has no friends so she will talk talk talk if you let her. Her lack of friends is her fault

But anyways, how would you have handled this?

So my younger brother (15) is kinda immature and still a pervert.

We have neighbors and I knew he kept staring at the mom and her daughter that visits often who is around 18. So one day around 2 weeks ago we had a small meet-up with some neighbors and the daughter was there. He sneaked up and slapped her ass twice (she had yoga pants on) then left running to his room. I was talking to the girl so I saw it but evidently they kinda just forgot about it, wasn't a big deal even thought they were mad about it, they didn't want to cause a scene.

But now yesterday worst stuff happened, the mother was outside in a bikini (she was swimming earlier in her pool), well he slapped her ass, then when she turned around he grabbed her breast and she was so shocked she shoved him off on the ground and he ran away. They have a camera and it captured the footage (she showed us) and my Mom is so nervous now. The mom said she will sue him and get him to court if we dont let both her and her daughter kick him in the balls while he's wearing only underwear, to teach him a lesson. She also wants to slap him across the face so her fingers leave a mark on his face. Now my brother is laughing as he doesn't think the law can do anything about it as he is 15 but he still is slightly panicking I can tell , should we force him to get kicked so we avoid all that stuff?

As you can see my mom obviously tells me that a lot lol she always has. Same with my dad. Only way I could think of this effecting someone in a significant way is them not being used to those words 🤔

What did they do that was so creepy?

I've seen lots of parents of all colors at the very least prefer them to date someone who is their own race, or sometimes even more specifically, ethnicity. Just curious how your parents all feel.
If you have biracial parents, I'd be interested to hear if your parents are more open or not as well.

My situation is this. I was abused by my father who had a drinking problem when I was younger. Around age 12 or 13 was the worst time when he physically abused me by hitting me. My parents later divorced and I chose to stay with my mom, I did not want much to do with my father. I did not feel safe with him and the violence caused some emotional trauma that I needed to get away from. Over the years he hasn't helped me with anything and didn't even call to see if I needed help. Now I'm older and started talking to him again about a year ago when he wished me a happy birthday really I was just hoping he would offer to help me pay off my student loan debt or something as a way to make up for the past. But he never asks if I need help and never offers. He merely texts me to ask how I'm doing, and I am tempted to tell him I don't need a buddy to ask me how I'm doing. I needed a father and now I don't need one anymore. A father's role is to protect and provide which he didn't do for me. My spiritual father says he forfeited his role when he failed to do these things. I would like to confront him about the past again, last time I did about eight years ago he denied everything. I would say that it's hard for me to forge a relationship with no Foundation seeing as he never asked for forgiveness or confessed anything. Thank you for your feedback and feel free to comment.

In the past a former girlfriend left him for a physician when he was financially struggling and a couple other people wronged him.

He's now 35 and always wanted a family but was afraid of landing a golddigger. He recently proposed to his girlfriend with a fake ring (keeping the real golden one hidden in his workplace locker), said he couldn't afford a good one due to his recent hours reduction and bills but she was still happy. According to him, her reply was like ''Doesn't matter, it's you I want to spent my life with not the ring. If you want, I can work overtime hours''.

He has tested her in the past and did two more recently but none seems to be indicating her being a golddigger. Actually she's into saving money and once made him return an expensive Louis Vuitton purse. She didn't want it. She finds it pointless to waste money on expensive, fancy things. To his amaze, she's passed all and has passed the last one too.

At this moment, he feels he can trust her and is willing to get her the other ring sometime this week. In your opinion was he still right to test her?
