A window's glass shattered on my vehicle, I have no idea how it happened but my neighbor who I barely know was out next to it touching my car on the side of the break, the side I couldn't see. It wasn't until I called out to him and approached him that he even mentioned it to me. The window had not fallen out, it was just shattered. I didn't want it to go all over the street or in my vehicle, so I was trying to get some tape to put on it, but the neighbor just sat their reaching out to poke the window. I had to physically stand between him and my vehicle to prevent him from doing so. He never looked at me, just stared at the window with a really odd smile and fascinated look on his face. Despite the close range and my repeated attempts to tell him "well, thanks for letting me know." And "hey! Please don't touch that, I don't want it all over." He wasn't trying to have a conversation with me, and the only reason he told me about it was because I asked him what he was doing next to my vehicle when I saw him. His obsession and lack of responsiveness to my physical presence and attempts to deter him just made me very aware of something being "off". Like he never got to saying something like "oh man I think that'd be cool to watch it break apart" or "Oh sorry, that just looks interesting" or look me in the eye for like 2 seconds. Just weird. I get being interested, this was not that.

I definitely have a creepy neighbor. He or she (after all these years, I still can't tell) lives in the second story bedroom in the house behind me cattycorner to me. Every time I drive down the driveway, the curtains or blinds shake and move letting me know there is someone there. They have this circular thing always in the window that looks like a listening device. One day I literally said outloud in my car as I drove out how creepy it is that they are always watching us through the curtains, and the next day, they got blinds. Could be a total coincidence, but I'm even more convinced now.

I also have a neighbor next door, though I can't really classify her as creepy as she's just a kid, but she opens her windows all the way, no blinds, so it's very uncomfortable to say wash your car in the drive or just have a conversation with someone there because you can totally see in to her bedroom and she's, technically watching us.

We had a few of them. Mostly, they were old people that hated kids and mostly kept to themselves. One guy never, ever came out of his house! All we knew was that his name was, King. Nobody ever saw him or knew what he looked like! In the house next to his was an older couple that, from what we were told, was off limits on Halloween because they gave out apples with razor blades in them. Next door to me was a guy in his 30's that lived with his mother up on the second floor of this apartment house. He molested several of us kids!! Across the street from that house right now is a really strange asshole that acts like he owns the town and everybody loves him but, most people can't stand him!! His wife intentionally has a long white stripe in her hair so, we all call her Cruella DeVill! The woman that lived next to him ever since the `70's (about 20 years before he bought the place) recently told me that the biggest reason she moved out 6 years ago was because of him!! He'd stand on his front porch and spy on her!! And, now, my house, the one where I SHOULD still be living, is owned by a fucking BIDEN supporter!!!

Oh god I definitely have a creepy neighbour 😒 I thought perhaps he was just friendly with all the other neighbours because in the beginning it didn’t come off weird/suspicious.

He brought me an orchid display as a house warming present when I had moved in, he came by to see if I was “alone and scared” that I can call him on his mobile number (handed me his mobile number) and that he’d come running 🤦🏽‍♀️ he has often just “popped to the cafe and grabbed one for me” I mean it’s nice but i’ve told him i’m not interested but he keeps trying.

He even parked his damn car in my driveway once and I couldn’t even get my car out from my garage to go to work. I had to go over to his and tell him to move it.. and his excuse was that he was cleaning his driveway.. like seriously dude.. 7am in the fucking morning? 🤬

When I was a teen we had a creepy neighbor. Nothing majorly obvious but his vibe, the way he looked at people, talked to people.

What convinced me that there was something off with him, was that one of our dogs ( a dalmatian) didn't like him. And he was friendly with EVERYONE! That dog wanted to play with everyone; before we had gotten the Rottweiler, we got robbed twice and we're pretty sure that as opposed to defending the house against the robbers, it's more than likely that he tried to play with them. He showed no aggression towards anybody BUT that neighbor.

Yes actually lol. I was about to say no and this guy crossed my mind. He was the step dad of my best friend who lived nextdoor. Only child of their family that was his was the youngest child. His daughter. All the boys were his stepsons.

This guy lurked. Like I never knew what it looked like to "lurk" until I saw this man. Little uncomfortable. Quiet guy. Kept to himself mostly. But he just was a little creepy. No one wanted to be alone around him.

You didn't feel like he'd do anything but just never wanted to stick around if he was there. Eventually shit goes down at their house because this guy starts escalating his creepy behavior. He started taking pictures of his own daughter who was like 12-13 at the time when she was in her underwear and he was trying to hide the fact he did it.

There was a lot more shit that happened. Things got dark. But yea, that guy was the creepiest neighbor I've ever had and no one has compared since.

When I was younger, my neighbor was rumored to be a child murderer among us kids on the street. he had this black window tinted pick up truck and he'd come home early enough for us to see him park in front of his house but late enough for it to be dark. he'd always be carrying bags and we said it were the body parts of kids. he would even do a creepy movie like villian smile at us everytime he caught us outside. we'd scream and run back inside. apparently he moved away like a year ago when I moved back into the street. Poor guy might have just been some awkward man with a black pick up.

My neighbor is quite odd. I stopped hanging washing out on the line because any time I would go out there he would come out to talk to me and basically shit talk my boyfriend. I felt so uncomfortable all I could do was awkwardly laugh. He smokes weed inside his apartment which is annoying because it seeps through and makes my bathroom stink so bad. One time our downstairs neighbors were fighting. Pretty sure my current neighbours are swingers. Any guy that’s been to my house has witnessed her pushing her boobs up to the window and I haven’t told them and they haven’t met each other so they haven’t been forewarned I just get told “you know the woman had her boobs out at the window next door?” I’m like ye she does that. Then the guy spends enormous amounts of time trimming his hedges at my living room window and stares at me while he does this.

So (I'm sure I've told you/someone on this app this story before) when I was at University I lived in a rented place with very thin walls, the creepy thing was that they tended to have sex on a timetable, approx. 4pm if I remember correctly... now that's not creepy in it's own right... what was creepy was that before we were subjected to their daily sex grunting, they insisted in disguising there noise by playing Mariah Carey CD at the top of there volume... even now I hear a Mariah song and my natural reaction is to run to the pub! lol

Yes i have one now, who is above me who hammers on the ground & and like watches everything i do & it's just weird him and his wife completely weird. I would expect this in the hood but i live in the suburbs so it makes no sense cause i also notice they are up all night & during the day they will leave and then come back as if they just don't sleep i think it's meth. Can't figure out what their malfunction is, they once even wrote me a letter saying they would like to keep the peace? But they continue to keep being weird. He used to talk to me (I obliged not to make him feel bad) and kept offering rides around town in his car “alone”.

The guy who lives on the corner is a pain in the ass. A simple, "How are you today, MTC?" doesn't exist. Any contact at all, automatically turns into a 30 minute conversation.

I had one, upstairs neighbour, he would knock on my door at 2am to ask for alcohol or money to buy it. He also tried to pickpocket me while passing through the common entrance. I would often hear loud noises from their place, probably him rummaging around the house looking for alcohol. (Heard a lot of bottles and such)
Luckily I can afford to just brush him off, I imagine someone less confident would've moved away quite soon.

I don’t think that I ever had creepy neighbors. But you know how you can feel that people are looking at you? Whenever I would go outside I could literally feel people across the street look at me then when I turn around they move out of the way. It was never just once or twice either. Yeah, a butler in the house, or a guy who was supposed to be a butler, but was a nasty little abusive moron that was dealing drugs.
The community (Essen, Belgium) never did anything about it, though - I think half of them are drugs dealers too. They ended up stealing my jetski - it was a horrible place to be and a horrible time wasted on cheaters/criminals/mentally sick transgenders (some of whom are in politics)
