When I was little there was an old lady that lived in the house next to me. I lived in row houses like the picture below.
We all shared a court yard that was our backyard with some grass and stuff. The neighborhood has a strict policy on dogs, when your dog did number 2 you had to pick it up, obviously this rule was understandable so we always did.
Since we were new to the complex though we literally always got accused for ANY LITTLE THING that happened. There was a neighbor we literally caught on our ring camera letting her dog poop and not picking it up but we kept getting complained on.
Our neighbor (the old lady) would always watch us outside, she’d come out of the house just to yell at us, she would yell at us from the window and banned us from coming anywhere near her house. She had a fenced garden and forbade us from even stepping near it (it was literally fenced it😭), she was just a bitch.
We found out later that she was the one that would call on us and complain.
We had to pay a bunch of fines bc of her and I can’t stand her at all. Old or not, I respect her but I don’t like her ass.
I still don’t like her but my parents have come to like her a bit.

As a kid , had a very nosey old fashioned kind of neighbour who tried to get into me for everything I did , as a kid where I left my bike , later on how I parked my car , actions I committed at sport , it was a livelong hatred I had for this guy , when my mother died of cancer in 1998 , I met my brother and sister at the house we were having a private discussion , I went down to the PUB ( Hotel ) with my sister , and we drank wine and talked all afternoon , we were both pretty drunk when we came back , my car was parked , it was a 4 car garage , but it was across the footpath ( pavement USA ) , no big deal , I parked there at the time all the other spots were taken , my sister and I were inside ( this guy knew my mother had died the day before ) , he came upto the house ( its a bit of a journey ) to say my car was parked illegally ( its a peaceful suburb you'd never get a ticket ) , I was no longer a " kid " of course , all of those years of frustration and just copping it came out , and I just screamed at him -- " Why dont you just FCK off " , " leave us alone and Fck off " - he never forgave me , I never offered an apology , and now the guy is deceased , but I'm still glad I did it !
Neighbors are stupid Narcs, if they pay attention to you and everything you do they have narcissist issues if they cause problems they're plain psychos. I hate all neighbors like that but I never talk to mine so they can't become obsessed with me
Not really, most of my neighbors keep to themselves. I will say if you live in apartments, don't live underneath people with kids. There was a point where the kiss upstairs where constantly running and power driving onto the floor. It was driving me crazy. Now it's not so bad as use to be.
We have an annoying neighbor who lets her own dog come crap in our yard, then she has annoying son who lets his Pitbull run around the whole neighborhood growling at everybody. Then whenever it storms she runs over here and helps herself to our storm shelter.
We do not have an animal control for our town. The police have been called on it but they don't seem to care. I will spray it if I ever get a chance though.
When my parents first came to Canada, we moved into an apartment with a racist tenant in a near by apartment who kept lying and saying we were making loud noises at night, one day they accused us of making noises when we were on vacation and we had the receipts and photos to prove we weren’t home when they accused us of making noises in our rooms and they were never believed again. I don’t know if they were punished, my parents did not discuss it with me cause I was a kid.
So when I still lived with my parents, the couple across the road used to constantly get into domestic disputes. These have been replaced by a family who play shit music all night and get into disputes with the neighbours. While I lived with my ex, I think we became the trashy neighbours.
I've had some. The worst are the ones that party late, have barking dogs, play their music or TV so it can be heard by the neighborhood, or drive loud vehicles. The ones that don't care for their property are also annoying.
My piece of shit cholo jailbird tweaker neighbor had his friends rob my brother. Somebody else he did wrong shot him but unfortunately the bastard is alive and well
