I feel like if I make the slightest wrong move I'll scare them or accidentally hurt them. It just feels like a lot of pressure being around something so vulnerable even you aren't their caregiver.

Nothing romantic just platonic

I, 33 (m) and my girlfriend of 2 months who I had been dating for 6 months before becoming exclusive, just had a conversation about how to raise kids. The topic just came up in conversion, and we both hold total opposite views on the matter. I believe that as a loving parent, it is unacceptable to beat your child as punishment. I hold this belief because I was occasionally beaten as punishment when I was a kid, and I have always told myself that I would never do this to my own children. She on the other hand was beaten as a kid, with a belt, and believes that after all it did not hurt her and straight forwardly said she would hit her kids as punishment (e. g. for not doing their homework and getting a teacher's note).

We had a calm discussion about this where I explained my views and fave examples of situations and explained why I believe there ware other ways to educate children. However, her only real point was, that it didn't harm her in the long run. However, I am not so sure about that, because of how casually she mentioned she would be OK with hitting a child.

We also disagree on other topics, such as religion and lifestyle. However, for now these have not created big fights, but I am sure they will down the line.

Would you break up with her?

Me (13) and my friend (12) met up with this “14” year boy on Monday who we were friends with on MovieStarPlanet for months. He added me on Snapchat because we realised we lived in the same town so we decided to meet up in the park but we had an another friend watching incase it was an actually a weirdo.

When we met he looked older so I asked him and told us he was actually 19 instead of 14 and his selfies were from 2019 and 2020. He was everything he said he was except his age. He was really nice and we played in the park and he said he’s like to meet up again.

Even though he was the real him I am annoyed about him pretending to be 14 and he’s actually 19 and I think 14 and 19 is a big difference. He wants to go to the cinema on Monday next week and watch Despicable Me 4 (I’ve already seen it but yeah) but I can’t have anyone finding out we’ve met someone off the internet because our parents would be fuming.

Should I forgive him for lying about his age or what should I do?

Whether he is her husband, father, brother, son, etc he should do whatever he can do ease her burdens

There are certain restrictions to what you can do, of course, and there are some things I would change about my childhood….. But ideally the only thing you have to worry about is playing and learning. It’s just a totally different mindset. It seems like there’s so much time ahead. I had a teacher who scale was three years younger than I am now and he once said “Don’t be in a rush to grow up. Being an adult sucks.” He was a very funny guy with a good sense of humor, but but I feel like he was kind of serious about that.

Wife has always been horrified and not even close to be ready for kids.

Id be excited and worried but any mention of being pregnant scares my wife. But she wants them in the future

Cousin was in an accident the other car was going pretty fast. Cousin merged after signaling and the cars swipped each other.

The other car was going fast enough to get from the blind spot to right next to him.
