I am 15 M and my older brother is 18 M, We grew up very close and he has always been there for me and looked after me since our parents were always working and were barely home. Even when we got older, we were still very close.. however we still shared the same bedroom and bed. I thought it was normal since he would offer to sleep in the same bed as me whenever i got scared when i was a child.. but now that im 15, i do feel a bit uncomfortable sharing a bed and room with my older brother. But that’s not the only problem, he’s always been very overprotective of me and whenever i mentioned that im going to hang out with my friends he gets angry and asks a lot of questions such as “who im hanging out with” or “is it a boy or girl”. He always likes to be very affectionate and calls me “darling” or “baby boy”…and whenever we’re apart such as (school, soccer practice, etc..), he texts me saying how “he misses me” and that “he can’t stand being apart from me”. I honestly don’t know if i should talk to him or tell my parents.. I don’t know what’s going or if i’m overthinking things

I am involved in a guy's Bible study group. When I joined, I didn't really have any friends, was single, and struggling with extreme loneliness. These guys took me in with open arms and gave me a sense of community.

Yes, I am a Christian. Maybe not a very good one, but I am trying to pursue my faith. I grew up in a Christian family.

Anyway, overtime, some of these guys I call my friends are increasingly becoming more and more annoying. They are uptight, eccentric, and just odd overall. They definitely are not hesitant to hold me "accountable".

I mean, yeah, I don't agree with all the crazy bullshit that is happening in this world. I am a strong conservative. I believe our nation has lost its moral compass and faith, but I at least try to remain cool.

On a genetic level are you more closely related to your parents or siblings?

This convo’s been making the rounds on sosh. Apparently one daughter is now pregger with 4th kid and mom decides to give the college fund she set up for her to her younger sister. Obvi seeing her as a safer bet.

I just got back from my tax preparer guy and he's a bit of an arrogant douche. I tried asking him stuff I didn’t understand and just the way he talks to me makes me feel like im an idiot for even asking. Also cuts me off mid sentence too.

so suffice to say i think ill get a new tax person next year.

Have you ever known a good friend of family member changing because of the money or fame they got? How did you react to it? Tell me your stories!

I had this with two friends of mine. They have a TikTok & YouTube channel together which grew a lot during the corona pandemic. They went viral a lot on Tiktok which later also happend with some of their YouTube videos. Which obviously attracted a lot of attention from both fans and companies. They have been invited on a lot of events and even presented a award show twice. In all honestly I wish them the best, but it affected them as well as person itself

During the years I've seen the both of them change due to all the fame they got from their channels. One of them I know since almost 15 years, I've seen him change a lot during the years. He has grown more distant and focussed (sometimes even obsessed) on the statistics. A bad video-result in views or engagement and he felt like shit about it. The other has become focussed on the money & sponsordeals primairly. She got pregnant recently and has done tons of partnerships with baby companies, there is no day when you don't see a sponsored post or story on the social media platforms from her.

Would you feel happier having a child of your own at some point in your life or never having a child and only having pets?

Several years ago, pet food and pet supply companies started using the term "pet parent."

Like it just makes me feel either forgotten about or maybe even worse that they did think of me but didn’t want to hang out with me. Makes me question the friendship a little.
