Fun question. banter.
Yes and I'll state below what, why
No, I'm a freeloader, I go from brand to brand
What is this customer loyalty or consumer regularism you speak of?

Fun question. banter.
Mccormick alcohol, they made alcohol affordable, and no longer a commodity for the wealthy
However, I've also become an alcoholic, so it's a very mixed blessing
Lol. "Don't fall off the wagon" - 🍾
You can always say no to the bottle 🍾 say yes to water 💦
I just drink soda 🥤 and water 💦
Sometimes milkshakes, fruit juices,
It's like a saying to someone who's quit and being tempted to start again like smoking. "Say no to the ciggie"* lol 😆
Stay clean y'all lol 🫧🫧
Wasn't ready for that plot twist at the end lol. Good luck getting sober.
(if you so choose)
Valvoline… you know what I mean.
Engine oils or engine lubes? 🧐
Guess it's a slogan or a play on words?
I've heard of Valvoline. I'd rather Castrol. It's a BP thing ⛽🇬🇧
So what are you putting in it, a sedan, hatchback? Used or new? Good to hear you like a brand and stick to it the way it'll stick to you 😉 unless it ever declines, is bought out or sours. Brands come and go, sadly or they go up or down 👎🏻
If you're an American, I would've said you'll likely love a brand like chevron or Mobil
I usually use just unleaded 91 which is not premium. However I hear mixed things about ethanol, so until I ever have to, I avoid the ethanol blends of unleaded, no advice, who knows lol 😂😆👀 ⛽⛽👌🏻

There are brands I buy because they have a history of quality - but I'm not loyal to the brand alone. I'm all too well aware that brand names by themselves don't mean anything - it's the company leadership that really matters.
Example:from the 70s through the 90s, no one could touch Sony for consumer electronics. But in the 90s, the founder died and some MBA took over and tried to complete by cutting quality and lowering prices, going for volume instead of premium. It nearly killed the company. I bought no Sony products during that time and didn't recommend any.
Around 2010, they got rid of that guy and went back to quality. Today, they make some of the best TVs on the market along with some of the best cameras. The difference wasn't the brand name, it was the leadership.
The best headphones I have owned were Sony. I had some in-ear ones with thumping bass and clear sound. And some in-ear ones that were even better. Both wired. Their wireless ones have worse sound, but are still very good.
Yes, Mr. Oracle, but many people are doggedly brand-conscious, often to their detriment.
@handsomelad70 Oh, of course. And that was my point: I'm not a blind brand follower. If I was, I'd have bought crappy late 90s/2000s Sony gear, and been disappointed with it. My brand loyalty only goes as far as the brand is loyal in return.
People who are blind loyal to a brand WILL almost always get screwed over by that brand eventually. All it takes is a change in leadership, and things can go very wrong.
I have had very good experience with Ford/Lincoln/Mercury cars. I am very partial to Diet Coke and not Diet Pepsi. Bosendorfer grand pianos are the best thing on the planet.
There are many brands which I buy consistently. When I was younger, I tried different brands, found the ones I most liked, and I have stayed loyal to them unless somebody comes along to suggest a new brand which might be even better. I'm not too old to learn new tricks.
Ever owned a share of shares in any of these brands? Just curious. And did you succeed or just losing money?
No direct investments in them.
I'm with you for diet Coke. I won't buy or drink Pepsi under any circumstances since I think it tastes like used motor oil smells.
As for cars, I prefer and use German or Japanese cars with occasional Italian cars thrown in.
I absolutely will not buy or drive American cars. Some of the older ones are pretty decent I guess, but the new ones strike me as junk and unreliable unsafe junk at that.
Fender or Gibson electric guitars are my choice of musical instruments.
Rarely, the only real situation I can think off is toothpaste. Elmex makes toothpaste that doesn't suck. Every other brand insists on putting mint in it which I am allergic to. And Elmex is the only one that both doesn't put mint in it and doesn't make it taste gross.
But I am not particularly brand loyal, I actually dislike most brands being affiliated with things I am against.
I like Colgate for their toothpaste and mouthwash. If it ever turned sour, i would just find a new brand lol
Never heard of it 👀
Mm. Colgate, no hear? 👂🏻
Never knew. I hope it's not true lol.
Oh. Batteries for car or batteries like this 🔋?
Lol. Are you someone who cares for price or country made? Or not sure. I for one could love a Japanese made car as much as a Chinese made car. Even if sometimes I'd always think any moment either one could have flaws. Lol like reliable? The irony would be the expensive or Japanese one, had more fault or irony would be the Chinese has predictable faults. Or neither. Lol how a man chooses. Lol 😆
I try not to be a guy uptight with money. Likewise I try not to fall for "you buy cheap you buy twice* 🤩
I care about good price to performance ratio, I don't boycott any specific country I also buy cheap chinese stuff for example. I just have read reviews online that japan has an exceptionally good battery factory and my Eneloop Pro's are proof of that. In Europe all eneloops sold come from that factory and they are all good quality. But Eneloop also delivers chinese batteries to the US, and they aren't the same product but sold as the same product. Those degrade quicker.
I'm still waiting on Africa to become that "factory of the world* as I saw some headline aka when Africa becomes or even South America becomes, the next *China makes everything* lol 😆 and hopefully cheaper. Think like a cycle restarting. Aka "everything made in Africa, it's cheaper than China even". Lah blah blah
And it's reliable quality still. Etc. do you think it'll happen? Hopefully before I'm 40 or 50 lol 😆
Hmm. I wonder why. Doesn't the bane of capitalism mean always pursuing cheaper quality goods?
Such as?
@itsclearlynicholas No, it balances itself out. Going back on the battery argument, I am buying eneloop pro batteries because they are high quality batteries and I find it worth it for the price. I could get much more batteries for a bit cheaper if I bought a supermarket brand. You can't get away with endlessly cheaper materials because then people don't buy it.
When it comes to clothing, I have in recent years changed brands left and right depending on the clothing. If it's just simple T-shirts which you wash after a use, I tend to go for cheaper brands like Zara, H&M, Uniqlo. With pants, suits and jackets... I spend more on higher end brands just because of the quality and sometimes one of kind style (at least not mass produced).
As for the higher ends brands, I rarely pay full price, because here in Sweden it feels there is sale every month and hence you can get away with a fraction of the original price.
But when it comes to phone or laptop, then Apple for sure. Love the gadgets and being part of the ecosystem.
I am by definition loyal to anyone or anything as long as they don't give me a reason not to be loyal. In this particular case, I am loyal to products for as long as they don't try to screw me by making packages smaller or reducing the content while keeping the same price or even increasing the price of said product.
It takes me a while to find the right product but once I have found it, the company has either to go out of business or, as stated, screw me and other consumers with a subtle and/or unannounced price increase.
There are two Aussie stores under the same brand called Cotton-On and Typo. One I buy all my clothes from, and the other has the most amazing merchandise. It's a 40 minute drive to my nearest Typo but I'm there so often that the employees know my name 😭
When I went to Singapore and saw those two stores I was GIDDY. Perhaps there's a bit of patriotic pride to see Aussie stores in different countries
I always bought brand name foods. I still do because I don't get disappointed, I know what it will taste like.
Generic off brand foods just don't taste the same to me.
I look like I'm loyal but it's just because I like the way it looks, sounds, tastes, smells, or feels. People tend to lean toward what's familiar because it's more comfortable.
Cheap even? 🫰🏻
Nike for my shoes.
Some people have shoes for weightlifting, running and casual wear. I hate having multiple pairs of shoes and have found Nike are the only ones that I can have 1 pair of shoes for almost everything and they not break on me.
I buy Carhartt clothing and I am a Dell computer fan. I drive either Ford or GM and I use DeWalt power tools.
Carhartt is neat, but their streetwear is expensive AF.
I DO like Wranglers shirts and jeans a lot.('ve had the same Wranglers shirt since 1991.)
No, if I stick with any given brand, its do to product quality, not loyalty.
If the quality drops, or a better product from another brand comes along, I'm choosing the better product.
I tend to buy budget Motorola smartphones, although my current one (moto e13) is really bad. It is very underpowered. But usually they have decent specs, great battery life, headphone jack, and pretty much stock Android.
No. Not exclusively, but I do have preferences with many things.
Like you shop at?
Or you'll only drive a?
Yeah, shops are one.
Not really, each car I’ve had has been a different make.
Name names? I just wanted insights to what brands people are loyal to, and why 😆😆😆😆
Wouldn’t you like to know…?
Lol 😆 can't blame a man for being nosey/nosy about other people's interests in brands or rival brands
The joys of capitalism ahahahaha 😁 I'm a socialist, shhh lol 😆
I always use Michelin tires and Arco gasoline. Just like them a lot.
Premium or regular? Expensive ones or keep mich's?
*cheap miche's?
Noop... the store branded product is often the exact same product made by the big brand names but selling under the store brand at a much lower price. There are some exceptions in which case I buy the big name brand.
Yes i am loyal to all the brands that i usually buy, tried many times cheaper products to see if it works but it didn't work!
I am loyal to GAG (GirlsAskGuys). Why? I dunno. Probably shouldn't be. Just am.
Dr. Pepper. it's the closest humanity has ever come to ambrosia. Shoot that shit into my veins!!
I wouldn’t call them freeloaders. Your dime their loss.
I hate Mormons yet love chikfila.
Nike Pegasus running shoes
