So I'm really goofy and fun and energetic and honestly a bit loud too :/ but I'm super friendly too and get along with virtually everyone (unless they're just a douche). but I have a hard time getting girls. don't tell me that maybe its because of my physical attraction because one, girls have said I'm kinda cute and I'm strong and muscular too. weigh 155, bench 235 and squat 270. I'm also very intelligent too. ton of people have said I'm really smart. but my friends say that its because I'm too loud and goofy and stuff and I need to chill out a bit. Is that really the reason? Girls please help me out :)

Okay, so I just got out of a long long relationship that ended quite abysmally and I am trying to get myself back out there (or rather my friends are making me) and I have realized that red hair is gorgeous! So I have decided to be on a "ginger diet" for the next part of my life. My friends think its weird, so I know I can't be alone on this

I'm working on changing my nice guy habits don't get me wrong, but yet I got friend zoned again and I have zero desire to be friends with this girl in school. I rather either be her boyfriend or nothing at all.

However she's been texting me a lot lately, should I even reply back? Or just reply but with something short?

Got friend zoned by a chick because she's been "Talking" to another fellow for quite some time now and they're going to be official real soon. For the past couple weeks I've been acting like just a friend to her, and she really enjoys texting me and my company.

Heard from a mutual friend "he was supposed to meet up with her to make it official, but he keeps pushing it off and acting weird", and I still have feelings for this girl, so now I want to change up my game.

I'd consider me and her to be good friends, not exactly best friends though. Should I try and get closer with her to form that "emotional friendship" bond(with some flirting) then pull away and make her miss me?

Or just pull away now? My only fear is that because me and her aren't that close, she won't really care and won't really miss me ya know? So I'm not sure which option to do

And yes I do really like this girl, that's why I'm not nexting her yet. We're both 18 btw

Would you all say there's a difference between them? Personally I think LJBF is a light rejection while the FZ = point of no return

Made up LJBF made up scenario:

Suppose a creepy looking guy starts to go to this bar and begins to hit on a cute waitress. After weeks of creepin he makes a move and asks her to do something outside of work and she says "Let's just be friends" to reject him. Then she avoids him, because she's not actually interested in friendship, just getting him off her back

Made up FZ Scenario:

This NICE guy meets this really attractive girl and they really hit it off in getting to know each other. After a whole MONTH of the guy not giving her ANY indicators of interest, the girl is so comfortable with the guy's presence she begins to use him as an emotional pillow and talks about how rude that one cute guy was, or if he could accompany her in shopping.

Alternate FZ Scenario:

Assume the same FZ scenario as above but after she begins to treat him like a girlfriend he decides to ask her out, she says "ljbf", and then she goes back to treating him like a girlfriend if he decides to stick around

In all honestly I really do believe there IS a difference between them. One is a form of saying "not interested" other is a form showing and ACTING "not interested"

My crush rejected me for a guy she knew longer(understandable, but still sucks) and told me we could just be friends. I kinda ranted to one of her best friends about how being a friend would be painful and hurt too much.

Me and my crush were texting last night and here's how it went:

Her: "...(her best friend) said you didn't want to be friends anymore"

Me: (No response to text)

I decided to talk to her in person at her work and tell her the truth. She was on register with a customer and I just walked over to her and said

"yeah I'm uncomfortable with just being friends" and I walked off

she replied "oh, ok" in a neutral tone

I felt bad about it because she's shown signs of liking me, despite picking this guy, so I figure she could consider me in the future. So I texted her

"I'm sorry, I expressed how I was feeling way wrong. I obviously don't look at you as a sack of meat, I just need some distance, I hope you understand!"

And she replied

"it's OK, I understand"

---Do you guys and girls think I might a accidentally hurt her? She didn't seem phased but maybe she was hiding it? She has a boyfriend now as I said so maybe she doesn't care? Idk!

I've been called "cute" and "sweet "by many girls. I understand those words express that I am somewhat attractive but at the same time, I feel those same words liken me to a child. Of course, no body wants a child as their special someone. Is being called adjectives like "cute" and "sweet" an indication that a relationship is improbable?

Not always, but most of the time when a woman or a guy says "let's just be friends", it doesn't mean an actual friendship where you two see each other as friends.

Usually, it's just a polite way of saying something like:

"I'm not interested in you, I don't think we are a match. I think we should gradually or immediately stop talking to each other and move on to other people."

Agree, disagree?

On the TV or in real life I see everyone has a best friend, someone they can tell everything and know they'll keep it a secret. I don't hae anyone like that. When I'm feeling really lonely and just quite depressed, I can't help but blurt out something I don't want to, like the girl I have a crush on because it's something small and quite insignificant, but I just want someone who will from time to time listen to my problems and help me, someone I can call a best friend. It would be nice, but it doesn't happen. I can't even talk to my own mum about most things, so I just want to have someone I can let it out to.

I like this girl and noticed the majority of the fights with her boyfriend are that "he never wants to spend time and talk to me on the phone anymore ever since he moved".

Should I let her rant on about her boyfriend over Facebook to the public, or be like "Hey I'm here if you wanna talk :D".

Idk I don't want her to get mixed emotions ya know? she's probably really stressed out at the moment

She is beautiful but short and is professionally qualified. But she has a minor thyroid problem she says.

Has any of you dated a person with thyroid problems ? Are they worse ? I have read that these problems are genetic in nature.

How worse can the thyroid problems get ?

I think I have already fallen for her although I have not talked to her in person. :-(

Today I lost a bet... me and my friends were playing volleyball, and we decided that the losers will have to get piercings... the game was going great until a stupid chick decided to throw a frisbee right towards my baby-maker. so I couldn't continue, and my team lost... now I'm in pain, and two of my friends want to kill me :P

So my best female friend of 3 years rejected me when I told her I had feelings for her before she left for college. She said she was still healing from her previous relationship but then she ends up in a relationship with this other guy. She still talks to me like I'm her friend but, I kinda want to end contact with her because I just feel like its a waste of time now that she has a BF. She's coming back this weekend since its her little sisters b-day (Im friends with her little sister too) and I'm pretty sure she's gonna want to hang out...but I'm not sure I want to because her Boyfriend will be there.

So it got me wondering if you could be friends with someone who rejected you or should you end contact with that person?
