"Lets just be friends" and Friend Zone - Difference?

Would you all say there's a difference between them? Personally I think LJBF is a light rejection while the FZ = point of no return

Made up LJBF made up scenario:

Suppose a creepy looking guy starts to go to this bar and begins to hit on a cute waitress. After weeks of creepin he makes a move and asks her to do something outside of work and she says "Let's just be friends" to reject him. Then she avoids him, because she's not actually interested in friendship, just getting him off her back

Made up FZ Scenario:

This NICE guy meets this really attractive girl and they really hit it off in getting to know each other. After a whole MONTH of the guy not giving her ANY indicators of interest, the girl is so comfortable with the guy's presence she begins to use him as an emotional pillow and talks about how rude that one cute guy was, or if he could accompany her in shopping.

Alternate FZ Scenario:

Assume the same FZ scenario as above but after she begins to treat him like a girlfriend he decides to ask her out, she says "ljbf", and then she goes back to treating him like a girlfriend if he decides to stick around

In all honestly I really do believe there IS a difference between them. One is a form of saying "not interested" other is a form showing and ACTING "not interested"

The fact remains, most women love the emotional attention of men they find ugly physically, or even if they don't like his personality. That's why men should avoid emotional vampires, which comprise a lot of female/male interactions. If she can't imagine you as a boyfriend, she's basically saying your'e an ugly man or have an unattractive personality or both. Why would any sane man want to be around a girl who never voiced such judgmental opinions about his worth as a person, but secretly thinks he's unfit to be called man enough to date. Any time a girl says "you'd make a great boyfriend for someone else" that's when you need to dump her ass and find a girl who actually thinks you're a great guy. Don't take these underhanded tactics which are just cloaked attempts to not be honest that she thinks you're ugly or unappealing personality wise, but is happy to have you around to move her furniture, fix her car or cry on your shoulder when some a**hole who banged her last week isn't calling her back.

Men: Just say "no" to female friendship.

The only exception: If she's got female friends that she proactively tries to set you up with or provides some other type of professional or personal perks. Most women are not very reciprocal in friendship, as they're used to guys carrying the weight in regular relationships, so it is easy for them to emotionally "vamp" you. The only female friends a man should have are ones who are willing to set you up with female friends or are giving you perks to maintain the friendship. Everything else is a waste of time.

friend zone or the other one, "point of no return" is just a myth blown out of proportion. Simple as that. It is fueled by mens inability, because they don't know how. There are a few types of women and each takes it differently. Simple as that. Search internet, maybe some stuff "mindreading" which will lead you perfectly into knowing who you are meeting. And you will decide. Because were talking about unconscious stuff here :)

I agree with what you said. Friend zone is typically the point of no return, while "Let's just be friends" is a light rejection that still leaves the possibility of having more in the future. But you also need to include that saying "Let's just be friends" after a breakup means that the people still care about one another in some cases, and even thought things didn't work out romantically, they still want to be civil.

hold on I will be the first to say that there is a way out of the friend zone I did it but its not really a benefit as I have moved on fully but she wants me now and I just walk right pass her every time no feeling at all XD

when she friend zoned me I was nice about it really nice and caring of her cause she has MS and I wore a band and became her pet but I always had a thing on the inside for other girls so slowy I hit on all her friends and they all became fond of me so she jump back to the lead of her little group and demanded I stop what I was doing..lol I had the power I left them all of them but I got all there numbers never called too.im not proud but they started it

this doesn't matter, even if 2 are friends it can get more than that. I am the proof of that. It happened to me a few times. The girl was surprised etc but its getting better.
