Make up is part of grooming. Men believes it's a tool used by women to seduce them or attract men.
It's a crutch. Then you try to convince yourself it's more than that.
Here's a crazy idea: try building confidence without the crutch.
Good advice. Perhaps we should do a challenge of posting before and after. Yes, I think I'll set this up. Lol
To me its a mask. The point is to have confidence without the mask.
Not really, the point is to have confidence. "The mask" Aka makeup--which is not a mask--helps to give confidence to those who want/need it.
So you get confidence WHILE you wear the mask. Much like, lets say, a slim guy putting on 4 shirts in order to look bigger. Maybe like a girl, wearing stuffed bras, a guy stuffing his underwear with napkins in order to look "bigger" down there. All these are masks made to boost confidence. I agree. But why? isn't it a lost cause? A lure? What happens when the masks fall off? What happens to confidence then? Rock bottom... much better, safer, honest etc to accept and have confidence at all times...
Wearing a mask is hiding your insecurities... not dealing with them. It's like fake confidence/self delusion.

Lol but everyone knows that makeup washes off. If you don't then you are missing some brain cells... Nobody would expect a guy's bulge to be fake. It's totally different.
I think guys mind it because a 6/10 woman wears makeup, looks like an 8.5 and rejects 6/10 men. I'm indifferent to the whole thing personally, do what you want.

Where is the aggression coming from? He's not shamming anyone. The picture say to wear confidence like make up, but at the end of the day make it washes off. So, that's a terrible saying. I think what most people are saying is whether you find yourself attractive or not without make up is in your head. I think most guys would take a woman without makeup if she had pure confidence.

Yeah I've heard some Asian girls are makeup experts and you should always take a shower with them before getting too serious...

@Mignonne_Mermaid He mean't you should have a shower with them so you can see what they look like without makeup before actually seeing them as a long term/serious partner. Yes it is her choice but it is also our choice to judge a woman purely by what she looks like without make up... we don't cover up like women do... we shouldn't expect them to but quit acting like men should accept a woman's face by what it looks like with face paint on...
