Hello and Welcome everyone! It's your boy Hal back with something. This is more focused on guys though I think that girls might relate too. So, If you're a guy who loves styling his hair, you're gonna love this take too. If you're a girl, you can give it a fun read. Let's get started-
1. Determine your Face Shape
There are mainly 4 types of face shapes- Round, Square, Triangle and Oval and you are surely one of them. You can check it using these pictures below. If you're a round-faced guy, you should avoid round haircuts and go for something more angular. If you're a square-faced guy, you should go with something less angular. If you're an oval faced guy, you're lucky because most of the hairstyles go along with this face shape. If you have triangular face shape, you're still pretty lucky, you just need to explore more.
2. Know your hair texture
You need to know more about your hair. It's texture, it's quality etcetra etcetera. For example- Mine are silky and thin so it helps me choose the hairstyles meant for silky hair. You should also know about your hairline. You need to find hairstyles that compliment your hair texture. You need to understand all hairstyles are not for all types of hair.
3. Ask your stylist
Okay so what basically happens is that you go to your stylist, tell him what you want, he sets to cut it off but but due to your different face shape or texture, it doesn't suit you or the haircut isn't upto the mark. To avoid this, show your stylist a photo of how you want your haircut to be and then ask him rather it would suit you or not and tell him all your worries. This will pressurise your stylist on a psychological level and now giving you a good haircut will be his responsibility. Don't forget to thank him for a good haircut.
4. Try Try but don't cry
This is the thing that I've done the most. Try all those possible hairstyles out there that you find cool. Luckily, your hair grow back and you'll look like a moron for just a few weeks lol. Trying over and ovet again will finally yield a good haircut that will become handy for you.
5. The Pro Tip
Okay, You might find it abit weird but almost all the haircuts especially for men are more or less quite similar. What actually matters is how you carry and style your hair. Styling your hair is as important as getting a good haircut. Given below is an example of same haircut and different styling.
You can literally see that the left one seems clean while right one is quite messy. So style your hair properly and for that, you can use various hair products out there. I'm gonna write a take on that soon lol.
