If you look good and feel good in them I say go for it... either way there is still a lot of people I would rather not see wear them
I don't mind speedos but most men I've seen wearing one bought it a size too small.
Two vastly different things.
Speedos are the obvious choice if you are actually swimming , and its pretty obvious why. Boardies , are completely different just for a social swim , or for just hanging around the beach.
Nothing wrong with speedo man.
Swimmers, water polo guys, and bodybuilders etc... wear them, and they look cool.
I think it’s mostly a turn off when guys have a big belly when they wear Speedo‘s otherwise a guy with a fit or average body looks fine with them
If you're in shape and doing some kind of swimming training, no one's gonna laugh at you.

Excellent piece of trend setting, your right about competitive swimming. I still wear boardies. Mainly cause I don't have to change and out any other pants on after I dry. Good read.

Way too revealing, and I'm sure will make a lot of people uncomfortable when you see all your junk popping out. I also prefer air and room for my junk.

Unfortunately, Speedos are not roomy enough to accommodate me. I would prefer not to be arrested because 7 or 8 inches of my schlong decides to hang out.

@jurgenmeister It's not always a matter of body type. Speedos look like panties on guys. I think a guy needs to have the natural "swag" or "spice" or just something that stands out to be able to rock male swimming panties. They aren't sexy. They don't look good. But it takes the right kind of guy with the special sauce to make it look good on him, particularly.
That's just my opinion.
