The sides are see through, as in you can see my skin, but there's like a pattern overlay.. so, it's not like completely transparent.

I've seen far worse. That's nothing. Plus honestly, it's a club. Clubs in my opinion are more meant for girls who want to wear the most revealing outfits possible and get drunk and dance like crazy anyway. Unless the girls are having a "girls night out" they're going to be wearing whatever they feel is going to lure guys over to them.

Given that you're in a club, maybe not. However, you should take into consideration who you're going with to there, too, and it is a bit, it doesn't only show your side, but legs, and cleavage. Normally you go with only one of them
