Do hoop earrings really mean you're trashy?

I've read this a lot in fashion blogs. But, I really like big hoops! Not massive ones, just biggish. I don't dress trashy, but I think they look a little glamourous.
What do you guys think when you see hoop earrings?

When I see a girl with hoop earrings, I always wished that I was her boyfriend. So I can be close to her and play with her big hoops.

I like big hoop earrings, you know. So it's always a pleasure to see a women who wears them. Why, I don't know. It's just a strange thing inside my head, that make me go mad.

So for me it doesn't look trashy. Its just how a perfect girl should look. Although nice clothes are also very important. But if you dress yourself bad, and don't have any earrings, you look like a lesbian.

I'm for 'em. They can look trashy, I just think it depends what you combine them with.

I find most earrings pretty boring, so I always find it a little more interesting when I see a girl with hoop earrings. Certainly grabs my attention.

I never really thought of them as trashy before. Maybe if the rest of the outfit looks trashy. Otherwise I just think "Wow those are some big hoops," then I go on with my day.

I wear them. They are my earing of choice. And I've been told I look classy many times. So to me hoops are sexy and classy :)
