When does it look good/ how low is too low? I'm a 17 year old boy & everyone does it, at least waistband & maybe few inches below it. Seems like the taller/ slimmer you are the lower you wear them to fit the trend. I did a quick google image search to show how we wear our jeans, put some links below- tell me which look good & which are going too far. I wear my jeans below the waistband, like this: It's almost like they were made to be worn that way. I wear a thick belt and wear them a little higher up in back. Hard to tell i'm even doing it. It's much more comfortable. 2 more examples of like me: Lots of images came up, I think it's so popular there's fashion sites just about sagging. Just Bieber seems to be a big influence, here's what I saw of him: And here's some normal images that came up, just your typical teen boy/ guy: So what do you guys think? Is it sexy? How low should they sit on your waist? And boxers or boxer briefs? You normally can't see a sagger's underwear, but if you can what looks the best? And is it respectful? If i'm wearing a tucked in shirt it would be higher up my waist (but not so that it's uncomfortable).
Tell me which links are good examples of what look good. So apparently it's a bigger and more diverse fashion trend than I thought, many different ways to do it.

Since I'm old I find it a bit much but as long as you are living a clean life otherwise I don't really care.
Funny sag jeans story. I was dropping my daughter at middle school years ago and I was waiting behind this mini van. I'll preface this story by saying the middle school had a strict no sag pants rule. Out of the van jumps this middle school boy with him holding on to his pants with one hand and his shoes in the other hand. He drops the shoes so he can pull up his pants to tighten the belt to a waist level and steps into his shoes. The whole time I'm laughing which is embarrassing the heck out of my daughter. The kid is just laughing at me laughing at him.
To be honest there are so many more attractive ways to be look good and eventually you need to transition to something else or it will impede your dating life as well as your adulthood. You might look up men's street wear fashion.
I hate it honestly. If they like it, go for it, but I will have you know that the whole trend was started in prison; men who WANTED to get anal would wear their pants low to invite it. So... yeah.
I don't mind if they are baggy around the ankles, but if I see your underwear... it ain't a preference, that's all I'll say.
I never really gotten why that started happening. I prefer for the pants to be up where it should be. My opinion, I dislike it. What's the purpose of showing your boxers? :/ Sorry I seem a little rough.
Thats why they invented the belt. They have only been around since the bronze age so thats probably why they haven't heard of them. Their designed to prevent your pants from falling down. I would say due to the duration and staying power of the belt as a fashion trend one could conclude that having your pants hanging below your ass has never been fashionable, at least not for the past 6,000 years or so. Not a problem, its something everybody does, teen self goes this is a brilliant idea! ten years later you realize it was a terrible idea. Thats why its important to listen to people older then you they where stupid so you don't have to be. :D
If everyone else is doing, be ahead of the curve and don't. It really does look bad though. As you get older you'll find that it's not just guys who look at butts but women do as well and you don't want them thinking you've got none just cause your pants are sagging.
Well, mine sag a little but only usually the waistband of my underwear are showing. My hips help hold them up lmao I wear boxer briefs, and they are more "designer" brand so, don't really mind the waistband being visible lmao
There is such a thing as too low, like not even on to the point you just have jeans around your legs and all of your underwear are showing. Ngl, thats just trash in my opinion
Its fashion man, get with the times. Men in France a few hundred years ago used to wear make up, wigs, and heels lol -- fashion changes with time (look at how things have changed with the social construction of Gender just in the 21st century alone).
On a personal note, I personally sag my jeans to show off my expensive designer underwear, c'mon bro ;)

I honestly don't know why this is a trend. I don't see how any girl can find a guy who fluants his underwear attractive. I don't like it and I don't think it's exy at all. And if they wear a belt while doing it it just makes it worse. Why is the belt there if your jeans are just going to sag anyway? It makes no sense. Some girls like it, I know, but I don't. It's that simple. You don't have to do it just cause every else is. And again, I don't know why this is popular since the trend came from prison from men who wanted a little action from other men. I'm a queer man myself so I guess there's my excuse, but frankly, its mostly STRAIGHT men who sag their jeans lol (its a very masculine thing to do; like you're secure in your sexuality/style that you can straight show your ass and still not flinch. Its like telling other men you're fearless, its a totally weird animalistic masculine 'check' lol.)
Honestly I've written most of my college papers on homophobia, sex, and sexuality; and I wanted to write my masters thesis specifically on sagging and Male/Female Displays of Sexualities!

I think you nail it when you say it is a huge "masculine check" and that is part of the eroticism of it. Add designer belts and underwear, and it is a huge and powerful statement.
