Culottes or pants that look like skirts, what do you think of them?

I used to think they were strange. I thought a skirt was a much better alternative, but lately I've been on fashion websites and saw a few of them, and I thought hmm... they can look nice depending on the shape, color, if fitted well, and most importantly if they perfectly give the illusion of a skirt.

I actually really, really like them but they make me look absolutely huge if I wear them :P I'm pear shaped with big thighs and huge hips and a big ass so having something that wide really isn't flattering but they are super cute.

I have a few of them but they are long. I like them coz they are comfortable and at the same time its like u are wearing a skirt but you aren't. In the pictures you posted I like the second outfit!

@LaVilaine yeah i like shorts a lot and i saw some shorts culottes that are interesting but i dont like those long culottes that you post but they seem comfortable.
In japan they wear a lot under shorts some they even put lace accents , i love it a lot.

Skorts = skirt + shorts. My mother loves them. I find them... Too 90s.

They're not my style, and they come back every 5-6 years. Some people want ~*~variety~*~ which I fully support, but they are not to my own personal tastes.

They look unattractive and ugly to me. Yet they might be comfortable. And plus these types of clothing look good with tall girls, which I am short 5'3 so I would not butcher my style to wear them.

I don't like them. Maybe on a tall girl they wouldn't look that bad, but they're definitely not for me lol.

I only have one. A really short one that looks like a mini skirt but offers more "protection" from creepers.

I think they look cute if you have the right body type + you match it with other clothes/items that fit the same sense of style.

I'd only wear them to work in the spring, but as far as casual wear or something to a party, I'll 100% pass.

I prefer palazzo trousers, more of a full length version, but I do like culottes too... on the right shaped person.

I'm not into them anymore but as a kid I loved them, because I always had yo wear dresses to school and on field days we could wear those
