Are dark lipsticks awful or not?

I personally like them myself. I'm into the deep, dark reds.
I've got fair skin and light eyes, my lips are pale without anything on. i love how it looks and I have gotten complimented on it several times.

I'd recommend trying it out if you want to. Be sure to pick a colour that is suited to you and your skin tone. You may have to try a few shades, but you'll find one that looks amazing. Never hurts to try!

You have to know how to pull them off and be stylish enough to know how to make them look good. Not every girl is creative and confident enough to pull off something so bold so if she tries, it might just look awkward and misplaced.

It depends on the shade/color. For example some dark reds/berry colors look stunning on dark skin

I personally think it's down to the girl. With some girls it'll work with others it won't.

for the girl with dark hair above I think it works. But for some girls like blondes I think it may not.

But I think the best thing is to do what you want and not care what others think

Personally I love them especially with lighter make up. They go with my skin and hair so many people like it on me. Def try it u would look good with it.

I would love to be able to wear them but they make my already tiny lips look non existant :'( They can look so nice on the right pair of lips and so terrible on others
