One of the features of an Alpha male is High Facial Width to Height ratio i. e. wide face. The first guy is more Alpha according to this.

If the shape of someones head determine how "alpha" someone is,,, then yeah people have completely lost all sight and understanding of the word "alpha" in everyway. Even though personally, find it to be so silly. The whole alpha thing. Not to mention that say in a wolf pack for example, its more of a father role the alpha has.
