My boyfriend doesn't like me wearing heels?

Usually when me and mg boyfriend go out i like to wear heels. Its something I've always done and i feel more confident in high heels. My boyfriend has a problem with and will bicker the whole night. We are both 5'11 so i can see why he would feel abit embarrassed with me towering over him. The thing is really (going to a back story here) i was bullied for a lot of years and for some reason being told I'm tall made me happy and have something to like about myself so when im wearing heels i just feel great. Strange reason really but i wish my boyfriend would understand thats what I feel comfortable in.

Honestly it's your right to wear whatever you want. I've talked to a guy friend about this before actually. Like when we were out walking there was a couple in front of us where the girl was wearing heels so she sorta towered over her boyfriend. I was fine with it cause she can wesr what makes her feel good but my guy friend argued that he hated when women wear heels cause it makes him feel short (hed around you amd your bfs height 5'10"). I mean if he's gonna let shoes make him feel I'm confident that's his own problem. You keep wearing the heels cause its what you enjoy. Your boyfriend just sounds like he's insecure about his height. Talk to him about how you like the way heels make you feel and that you wearing them has nothing to do with trying to belittle him.

I understand how bullying effects people, but you are tall anyway... To be honest, high heels are not that good for anyone and you kind of need to see his point of view as well.
If wearing them makes you happy then great keep wearing them, but you will have to think which is more important to you, your heels or your boyfriend's insecurities...

I love it when women wear heels, unfortunately, because of my height, they feel weird when they are with me. I try to encourage them to wear them because I'm secure within myself, and it does not bother me if she's taller than me with or without heels.

High heels are bad for your feet and legs. They cause stress and strain over time so you may not notice it now but when you hit 40 your feet will be veiny and possibly have some feet deformations.

That and in social situations you make him appear emasculated.

Anyways, if men have a problem with it then date guys 6 foot 7 and up - with elbows that go so far up your belly that it causes you to puke. Not that height has anything to do with elbow size.
