I've seen multiple times on here guys saying that they find chokers attractive obviously not all.. but i've seen it enough times to wonder what is it that they like about them?
I like they flair they give to the usually under dressed girls that I know. It does a great job of attracting attention to the girls neck. Which is something that most necklaces won't do like in the picture. The neck is an important area on a woman that most people forget about. I like that the choker brings back attention to it and is often classy. I don't like the awful looking chokers like the dog collars it just looks like someone is trying to hard at something with those.

I was looking for answers to this question because when I wore that exact lace choker on New Year's Eve night, one of my guy friends told me that he likes when girls wear chokers... I hadn't even thought of it in that way lol... and I wasn't even underdressed or anything
A male cousin of mine who is 15 yrd old once told another cousin a female who is 17 years old, who loves to wear chokers, this male cousin told her that only hoes wear chokers. Ohh boy that day this female cousin got so mad at him for saying that cause she said that is not true and he insisted "the ones who were chokers as necklaces are hookers. At taht age my male cousin said that. This is just a comment in relation to the quesiton on the post.
your male cousin is not far away from the truth, girls who wear chokers (not all but most ) look... modestly whorish which guys absolutly like, its like they're saying " iam modest and wear modest clothes but deep down i can't wait to devour you"
@CoolSky01 That's kinda creepy... I never thought that much before wearing a choker... even when I was 14, my mom herself would get me necklaces as birthday gifts and some of them would be chokers but I honestly never thought of it in that way lol... I only recently realised this because one of my guy friends told me that he likes when girls wear chokers when I kept a pfp on New Year's Eve night in which I was wearing one... I even discussed it with my bestie (a girl)... even she never thought that much before accessorizing with chokers XD
It's sort of hard to say why, but they're definitely seen as an erotic/sexually suggestive accessory. I, for the record, think they're pretty hot too and enjoy wearing them a lot.
I generally find chokers attractive but wondered why. That's why I searched and found this page. I think that it has less to do with liking the chokers and more to do with my observation that girls who generally wear chokers know they are hot. It's that confidence that is attractive to me.
There is also the aspect that wearing a choker can make your neck appear longer, and it gives the impression that your skin under and around the choker is youthful and tight (I feel dirty using that word in this context) in a similar way to how a bikini bottom strap can dig into the skin around the hips to form an ever so subtle indentation but not too much.
Oh! Another aspect may be that chokers are probably much cheaper than other expensive jewelry, and to me, it tells me that there's a good chance that this girl isn't too materialistic or high maintenance.
Those are my best guesses. They are certainly not my conscious thoughts in the moment, just my brainstorm of what the reason could be working backward from my opinion that chokers are hot.
I have no idea. And I say that as one of those guys who almost fetishises the choker. I don't have a thing for necks, throats, or choking. I just think it looks sexy as hell.

A contrasty choker (black on white skin, white on black skin) frames the face, especially when worn with bare shoulders. With bare shoulders it also "pops" as an adornment, which, like all adornments, are designed to catch people's eye. There's also a connotation of sexiness, like wide mesh stockings or bikinis.
I don't know honey, but it is... It's crazy hot :D If I had to guess I would say it's because it reminds us about omething like a leash, you know, for a dog. And that is a quick association with power and controll over you. And that is hot...
Lol when i wear chokers last thing i think about is some guy is going to think i have a werid fetish or daddy issues i wear it as jewellery.. do guys really think like this?
@helloitsmethere daddy issues Whenever a female has a fucked up relationship with her father, or absence of a father figure during her childhood, it tends to spill into any adult relationship they embark on, usually to the chagrin of any poor male in their life.

Like a lot of things I like, I can't really explain it, if I had to take a guess, they look a bit pettish, they remind me of collars, and they draw attention to the neck (I'm fond of biting)
I don't know either. I like chokers, but only if its with some kind of Lolita, Victorian Gothic or (at a stretch) Gothic/Punk style. I don't get why guys like them on their own though.
I feel like they make a statement that the person is adventurous and I like that. They just look aesthetically pleasing. I'm not a fan of that regular black one I like the more ornate ones.
You may as well ask what guys like about bangles, ear rings etc. It's just something that a girl wears that makes her look fabulous and sexually mature.

I would think it's just the same things girls find attractive about them. I mean it's girls who wear them so I assume they think they are attractive too?

I always just think it draws attention to the neck which is sexy. :) but apparently a lot of people associate them with fetish stuff in their own minds
