I think guys wearing makeup is fine — I'm actually for it, but I believe there should be a difference in the way that it is worn by a man and a woman. Women have natural features that make them look like women, and men have natural features that make them look like men. If you're just following and enhancing those features, then there would and should naturally be an apparent difference with the approach and application of makeup. The ones in the picture though is just women's makeup style used on men. So yeah, the makeup itself looks good, but I don't think it really does anything to enhance their natural looks and just makes them look more like women instead.
These dudes are wearing too much makeup which makes them look weird. I know a guy who wears very light makeup around the eyes and a tiny bit of foundation and you can't even tell he has it on. He wears it to cover the acne marks on his face and to make his eyes a little bigger due to his ethnicity. Light makeup on anybody is fine but an extreme amount of makeup on both sexes is unsettling to say the least.
I don't know if there are any Kpop fans here, but from what know, all kpop boy bands do and they are as masculine and attractive as all other good looking men I've seen. If I'm not mistaken, most celebrities do in general. The examples you provided are different - they are more feminine.. they don't have to be that way.
I'm 99.9999999999989% sure that no straight men wear that kind of makeup...
But even if they did - good for them... I'm not going to be attracted to them and will, obviously, assume they're gay, but the main thing is they're true to themselves.
Well, if you think about it, male news anchors sportscasters and the like all wear make-up because of the lighting that is being thrown into their face. The difference is that they wear make-up to hide what would be noticeable because of the lighting and so that you can't tell that they're wearing anything. Now, when it comes to what you posted, pretty sure most people will have the same opinion on men wearing makeup like that as they do with women who wear makeup like that.
I really could care less about what others say or do, unless it involves me then its their choice. Still wonder why some people go out of their way to say bad things about them, it won't change a thing.
why are all these comments so negative lol, it's fun and i find it wrong to think only girls should wear makeup. it's an art and a way of expressing yourself so i am 100% here for it. if i came home to see my son using my makeup i'd probably start doing mine with him and teaching him. it's just fun :)

First off: no offense to anyone. But these pics.. I can't find them attractive. They... I don't know how to put it in a nice way... They look like transexuals to me. I feel weird looking at them.. sorry...
But if they feel good wearing make-up, then good for them... just not for me.
I don't like feminine guys so I would never date a guy who wore makeup lol as I don't personally find it attractive. Lots of them are very talented however and I would love them to do my makeup for me lol. Do what you want, my opinion shouldn't stop people doing what they like doing personally. Also, I've rarely seen straight men wear makeup except maybe some foundation to cover spots, so I understand why it's often be associated with gay/bi men.
Honestly? I think its really messed up. The attempt to feminize men is really disturbing to me, the fact that society as a whole seems to encourage it even more so. Their are many reasons why this is detrimental and I don't think it should be encouraged. That said I am a strong believer in personal freedom and they have every right to do so if they wish.
I really don't care what men do with makeup but I'm not attracted to men who wear it. I usually only go as far as a little eyeliner/mascara/tinted lip balm myself (when I feel like dressing up) so I wouldn't be attracted to a guy who BEATS his face. For the most part I don't even mind slight to moderate acne, I get slight breakouts myself a couple times a month. I prefer the natural look

i have an enormous about of student debt and I still have to go to graduate school. The projected value of a bachelors degree is plummeting, and even with one... our generation is expected not to retire, or to retire in our mid to upper 70s. I have plenty of things to worry about at this moment in my own life... I definitely do NOT have room to care one bit if a guy would like to wear makeup.

I think it's fucking stupid and disgusting. What happened to the days of rugged men? Now men have become this, wearing tight ass skinny jeans and putting on makeup? That's retarded. If a girl chooses a guy who wears makeup over me, a guy who works out, has a 5 'o clock shadow facial hair look and other manly traits then I give up the civilization of women.
what annoys me about this idea is that the make up is made to make them look feminine. Why can't the make up just be used to correct blemishes and shit? why does it have to be used in a feminine way. that is only going to convince people even more that men shouldn't wear make up.
Make u p was made for women sorry. Unless you are an actor or are in a profession where you requires to wear make up as part of your job it is ok , but wearign it on a daily basis, sorry you look like a girl and I dont want to date or being girlfriend to a man who looks like me. I don't get why people have an issue with guys wearing makeup. Everyone is a master of their own will and they can do whatever they wish to. Also, for those who consider it creepy or cringe worthy. Sit back and think about all those hot male celebrities you have a crush on. They all wear makeylup while they are on screen. So the concept is not new. Let them live.

Basically if you're not an actor it's just not a personally good idea because mens skin can be more oilly and could cause break outs. Plus it's just not simply manly. If the dudes goal is not to be manly then mission accomplished. I guess it depends on what you're trying to do.
