Girls, do you consider cheerleaders dressed too slutty in today's sports?

Most days in making for women today in a few things that they'd making for men are indeed very slutty. But we also need to remember that sex sells so these people ain't going to care about what you think. I know how to carry myself as a woman therefore I don't participate in that. Other woman wants to do it, well, it just goes to show what they're thinking. No amount of money will make me wear such a outfit. Everything's become extremely sexualized compared to 20 years ago.

Professional cheerleaders have to be both superb athletes as well as skilled performers in group routines. Showing off their amazing physiques in revealing costumes is all part of today's entertainment expectations. I don't believe that this should be regarded as "slutty" especially when one views the sports costumes the girls wear in the summer Olympics, most notably in track and beach volley ball. Holy Smokes!!!

Absolutely not. It's their job to have eyes on them. They should wear strappy high heel stilettos or boots instead of sneakers or low heel boots.

I mean it could be for some but I don’t really care. Here in Aus we don’t really have cheerleaders apart from all star cheer, which is a sport in itself (think bring it on) and the uniforms are pretty different.

I think they sexualize cheerleaders in North American sports to appease the eyes of males.

If they dont want to do it because they feel slutty, nobody is making them. Clearly they either enjoy it or make enough money that they dont care. Also some women love showing themselves off, i would too if i had a body like that

These are pretty skimpy and I feel bad for the girls because those outfits are uncomfortable to wear.
To do a sport they love they have to wear that stuff. Sigh.

Yes, showing too much, because society is often ashaming women, who wear not much or very open clothes. But they are comfotable in these clothes, so that's great ^^
