How do you feel about women who are cheerleaders?

Neutral, I guess, and I’m assuming from the picture used that you mean the dancer type cheerleader as opposed to competitive cheerleaders (athletes!🫡 ). A girl I used to see back in college was a dance major, and after college she went to NYC to audition for shows, etc. She didn’t have a ton of luck with the dancing, but she did get on the New York Jets cheerleading squad, I think they were known as The Flight Crew or something similar. They made like $60 a game or something (in mid-00s dollars) and they only have like 10 games including the preseason, so needless to say she didn’t last long in NYC, haha. The next year she moved to California and she was an “Ice Girl” for a minor league hockey team, so sort of a cheerleader. I’m sure that paid even less, lmao. So I guess first and foremost, I think of them as probably-broke, respectfully😂 On a physical level, I guess I’d say they’re often pretty hot, since they usually have a dancing background and are in excellent shape. But I’ve seen plenty that weren’t my cup of tea, too, and I’d call my overall feeling neutral, in that I don’t find the occupation to be an amplifier to how hot I think they are, a lot of them just happen to be hot by way of their usual particular area of expertise that leads them into cheerleading in the first place.

I had the hots for Laura in high school. She was stunningly beautiful, a cheerleader, and very down-to-earth/approachable. But I was a shy guy and never approached her.

A few years ago, I saw her and we agreed to get together for dinner. It was fun seeing her but. . . she had developed a medical condition which required the frequent use of steroids, and she had ballooned up to the size of a cow. Not her fault, I understand, but still unattractive. After dinner, I walked her to her car and she put a kiss on my lips. I could have easily pursued her and probably been in her bed that night, but I felt NO attraction, even though she is a sincerely nice girl, intelligent, and still down-to-earth.

Being a cheerleader just means you were a physically cute girl in high school. Nothing more.

Cheerleading is basically team gymnastics (so yes, it's a sport) in skimpy outfits (which I've never had a problem with) with droning, repetitive chants (which grab and hold attention alarmingly well). The effects on physique are certainly impressive, but most of the cheerleaders I've known have been sweet, friendly, good-natured airheads. So they're hot, sure, but generally not the sort of women I'm into.

I don't feel anything these women are generally career dancers (the cowboy cheerleaders and laker girls for example). I'm not into dance so I can't relate one iota. But I've met the laker girls in person and let me tell you they are IN SHAPE! They may look good on the t. v. but you can see thier muscles in person. They clearly work very hard at thier craft.

I've dated a few. The flexibility is nice and obviously they have to keep themselves active, which I love. I think the stereotypes of them being airheads is overplayed. I knew one with a degree in applied mathematics. There will be airheads in all fields.

I mean, it's not someone I would have been interested in High School etc., I was more into the smart girls (which I am sure some of them are) but more the sweet little bookworm type. Kind of nerdy and a total cutey with and without the glasses.

I wasn't in classes with them when I was in high school but I taught a large number of them as a high school teacher. They were pretty normal kids, a bit above average as students (as a group).
