Yes, they can be. It depends on the style, content, and the personality of the individual.
I consider tattoos to be both personal expressions, and works of art. I also believe a wonderful piece of art can be utterly ruined by the wrong canvas. This would include a tattoo on the wrong person. Like a poser trying to fit it or get attention by promoting something because they think it will make them seem better in some way.
I've seen some really horrid looking sleeves that were a clucterf*ck of images arranged just to take up space and completely cover the arm, and it just didn't work... It wouldn't look any better on a leg.
Sleeves should all be done by the same artist, and follow a theme, or progress through some kind of pattern or related content, or one large image like in the photo.
It is not attractive i think. Because it destroys natural look totally. If it was modest and smaller i would prefer.
In my own honest opinion it depends on the tattoo itself dear Megan Forreal. Some people like tattoos in general while other dislike. It is just a matter of taste.
Personally I don't mind at all if my future SO/Wife would like to have a tattoo but would appreciate if she shares the drawing with me for an opinion before making any decision further.
So my answer would be frankly that the tattoo is OK depending on the drawing. If the drawing is beautiful and she wants to have it, then it is her body and her choice. I have no right to stop her :-)
Thank you for sharing this interesting question dear Megan Forreal, my pleasure was to share an honest opinion!
Thank you for MHO dear Megan :-)
personally I am not a tattoo person 1 or 2 small ones maybe a forearm sleeve I can live with I guess but tattoos for me are something that just hides who someone really is (when they go big like full sleeves, back tattoos, leg, face, tramp stamp, stuff around the waist. A bit to attention seeking. Worst is the names crap they get the name of an SO who they plan to be with forever things fall apart they now have a permanent tattoo unless they cover, remove, etc... which is just awkward.

Eh it’s not really my thing. Most of the guys on one side of my family have them, as a cultural thing and I’ve never really seen the appeal. I can appreciate a nice arm and shoulder sleeve but legs just don’t look right to me
I don't find tattoos in general speaking attractive. The drawings that gets designed for tattoos often looks cool. It's art. But it's art that looks good at canvas, paper, walls and similar like that, not at bodies. The motive can be bad looking at the skin with age when it gets saggy, but it can also cover the nice skin the person have and make the natural nice body shape lesser visible. No point with a fit body, if it's not visible because of tattoos.
Why can't you just get different pairs of leggings... With many patterns for different occasions.
That must be tiring to look all the time the same
It's really not, I have a lot of tattoos and for me, the knowledge that it is part of my skin and can't just be changed like clothes, looking at them has a meaning and feeling associated. It's not just visual appeal
I'm just tired of seeing this post come up... I don't care. Tattoos on a fat ugly feminist doesn't do shit for her. Tattoos on a hawt chick doesn't make her not hawt. It's pretty much that simple so get over it. Nobody really cares.
Although I think someone that invests that much into themselves would at least invest a mediocre amount of self care so it tends to be associated with beauty.
I would do casual with a girl like that but not a girl to bring home to mom
artistically, it looks amazing.
but when I look at a woman and gauge how desirable I find her, it's a turn off.
Too much going on, and I like the look of clean, bare skin.
Would you gild a lily?
NO!
To a man there is nothing more physically beautiful that a woman's body, so why mar it?
I normally love tattoos but I thought that looked weird... sleeves only fit in arms, if you ask me. Im sure the right person could pull it off though
That's not A leg tattoo, that's a leg sleeve. Huge difference.
And no, I don't find leg sleeves attractive.
Definitely not this one 😆 not these big ones please 😀 they make your leg look like a piece of clothing 😅😅
I'm not a fan of sleeves on legs or arms for a women but that's just me.
To me it depends on the art and if it flows nicely while reflecting the personality of who is wearing it. There's some bad tattoos out there.
Depends on your likes or dislikes. For me I have never been fond of seeing that volume of ink on any person.
I don't think so. It covers too much, I can't appreciate the woman only the mess on her leg. A few tattoos is cool and quite sexy but that many is over doing it.
Really depends on the designs and how well they are done. Some tattooists are amazing and others ave terrible work.
Depends on what it is and how well it's done. Same for any tattoo. This coming from a tattoo lover.
I love the tattoo but I don't know if I’d called it sexy it an amazing design in love the artwork but I don’t know if I’m attracted to it or not
I've never found sleeve tattoos attractive, but I especially dislike leg sleeves. They're HUGE, and most of the time people run out of good and tasteful ideas mid sleeve.
Attractive to who and which is the objective behind? Its something really courageous and personal so people won't like it. They will love it, or they will hate it. No medium point.
With tattoos, I say the smaller the better. One covering an entire leg is just too much, IMHO.
