Trending & News So because some woman changed a feature of her body you believe all men and society will now change what they find attractive? This is like a whole new level of insecure. The Jenners and the kardashians of the world do not define the standards for beauty. Women need to stop giving them so much power over their self-esteem. What was attractive last year will remain attractive next year, despite what cosmo and your social media feeds might tell you. Men are not that fickle. Society just wants you to feel perpetually ugly because then you'll splurge on products you don't need.
Listen, these famous socialites, they're nothing. They're unimportant snobs that thrive off of the attention you give them. They don't care about you. They don't even know you exist. So you don't need to consume your life with their bullshit. Their choices don't define you and whether you're attractive. They are not the standard for beauty. You are more than enough just the way you are. If Kylie Jenner shaved her head and disced her lip tomorrow, I seriously hope you do not feel like you need to do the same and worry that no one will find you attractive because you can't carry a dinner plate in your mouth.
Beauty standards among men don't really change. The only standards that change for women are those set by other women. Guys aren't going to look at you and go - "woah, I can't believe she doesn't have thin lips! She's so ugly!" Some guys like it, some don't, but they aren't changing their minds because Kylie Jenner decided to keep or remove her plastic surgery. Smh
For the record I don't like plump lips, and I never have. "society's" standards change because our standards change, not the other way around. After all, society is just the word we use to describe ourselves as a collective. So get over it, because no man who liked big lips is going to change his mind, and no man who liked thin lips will change his mind if big lips are popular. They would have to be medically retarded
She is a sad, talentless blowup doll trying to deflate herself so that she can release some of the pressure off her brain. Please don’t follow whatever “trends” she starts. I don’t get why people worship the Kardashian’s anyways.
Hey man calm down
Lol.
We shouldn't care about "trends" that involve body parts. No you don't have to get your lips reduced just because of a "trend".
Yes but what if big lips start to be considered ugly?
No one should care about trends period. Of any kind. Make your own decision.
Read my opinion again.
What matters is what YOU think not what other people you don't even know think. Don't get influenced by these stupid trends, they're only here to make people insecure over beauty standards that are, forbmost of them, impossible to obtain without plastic surgery

Why are you so obsessed with following trends and worried about reducing your lips if it becomes a thing? Please value yourself more than follow some famous slut and let her decide what's now considered beautiful.
Appreciate your features for what they are. A lot of thin lips girls are going to want plump lips no matter what the trend is.
I'd like natural lips to be 'a trend', not thin lips.
Whatever you got - should be enough.
From plump lips to vajazzling to who knows what else in the future - those who follow the trends will be subject to the whims and fancies of those who set the trend. This is why I'm glad to be man in the context of fashion and trends - menswear hardly changes at all, and if you get a few timeless pieces (with a modern silhouette, of course), you're set. You'll have to pay a lot, lot more for a well-tailored bespoke suit compared to a This-Summer's-Latest-Dress craze... but, you'll still get more bang for your buck over the long-term.
I doubt it, full lips have been popular for thousands of years though trends do change a bit I highly doubt the Jenners are the ones to do it.
Beauty trends change because marketing companies set the trends and have new products to sell every season.
full lips have always been attractive. Everyone admired Angelina Jolie's lips. The thing is that at that time there was only silicon which made your lips look like an ape's ass. People started using fillers when fillers came out not when Kylie started using fillers. By the way, Kylie's lips are horrible. I have seen lots of amazing fake lips that look natural. Kylie's lip shape is weird and unnatural because her natural lips were only lips were almost non-existent. Only lip lines. And for getting full lips she had to use many mils (4-5).
Scientists were wrong. The Earth does not revolve around the sun. It revolves around the Kardashians and Jenners.
We need a new phrase
Kat's (Kim) Brave (Bruce) or Courageous (Caitlyn) and Kind (kylie) Kleptomaniac (Kendall) Cousin (Chloe) Knowingly (Kourtney) Kneads (Kris)
Feel free to come up with a better one
How is your name just mytake but you are not just writing a mytake but rather answering questions? Explain.
@theflash675 My intention was to just write MyTakes. I haven't written one for a week. \
But this is still just my take on different topics people are asking about so the name still kind of does work
You are a walking contradiction. You should be ashamed of what you have become mr. My intention was to just write mytake a but I changed my mind
@theflash675 Are you actually the flash?
Yes but someone broke my kneecaps with a baseball bat. I spend the rest of my days here
@theflash675 So there's 674 more of you?
No all of their knee caps are also broken
@theflash675 I would like to discuss this further. Aren't they still the flash even if their kneecaps are all broken? So there are still 675 flashes?
They all died from shock of their shattering knee caps
@theflash675 What happened to you? And wouldn't that just mean there are 674 Flashes buried underground?
You ask to many questions, I don't want to have to kill you
Literally NOBODY is pressuring you to make your lips look a certain way. It's all in your head. You're the only one that gives a fuck. That's true of all beauty standards.
If you polled G@G men on whether they prefered thick or thin lips, I GUARANTEE you that it will be 50/50, with no more than 5 percent error due merely to chance.
Personally, I prefer thick lips. . . so I've already disproved your theory.
Hm, I dunno. Honestly I have no idea, I have a hard enough time keeping up with men's fashion trends which is simplistic compared to women's. Let alone celebrity inspired trends.
Besides, I find Evanka Trump way more attractive than any of the Kardashians. She is so pretty 😍
How do you remove a filler? And I don't think people are going to change because of these women. I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't like fake stuff like plump lips, large injected breast, big fake butts and etc. I just am glad being natural with my real full lips and body. Trends shouldn't move people really
Girl, big lips are beautiful. Big lips are definitely still a trend and I think that a lot of people are attracted to them. But there's also people attracted to thin lips and that's fine because thin lips are beautiful as well. Just know that big lips are gorgeous and you're blessed to have been born with them
Don't know if it will be a trend based on that. I have naturally plump lips too but I like mine because they look natural. I hate the fake ones, they just look swollen and horrible. Natural lips are always better. Just be glad you also have naturally plump lips, so you don't have to feel worried about them. Natural lips are always better than fake lips (plump or thin).
There is a difference between plump natural and fake. If you can truly prove they are the real natural thing. That would really just be another plus and not a negative.
a lot of these trends are mostly fictional things that marketing just likes to string the consumer on with. Guys will pretty much like anything so long as you own it and are confident and are okay with just going with the flow.
Ok why do you or other people let these dumb stars dictate fashion or appearance, or anything else like that. People need to get back I touch with idols that actually have talent.
@TomasLyy yeah I never cared for any of them, never knew what they looked like before maybe a year ago or less. All the people that follow them or keep up with their trends need to wake up.
I have a friend d who k kws a lot about that pop culture world and I always wish she would see through the bullshit she's feeding on, and how it pollutes her idea of herself and her looks.
Frankly the thought that people would do anything because of Kylie Jenner is. . .
terrifying.
lmfao. uh... as a thin-lipped girl, i am waiting for the day thin lips are gonna be in... but i doubt that that day will ever come. even before kylie shot plastic in her lips, fuller lips were more attractive.
Beauty trends of physical appearance are bullshit plain and simple. I understand changes in fashion but the idea that a person is NO LONGER beautiful because they no longer bear resemblance to a celebrity is bull.
The thing about artificially plump lips is that they don't look natural, just as most fake boobs don't look natural. But naturally plump lips do look natural and are very attractive. Kat Dennings, for example, has beautiful naturally plump lips.
Her lips are still medium sized. If I could have my lips naturally larger, I'd go for it no matter what people consider pretty/ugly. Trends change but normal people still have their own preferences and don't decide upon trends.
I don't follow the trends, a lot of the time they only flatter certain people too. I don't know if they will be a trend, could be. She does look a lot prettier and less plastic to me without the fillers.
lies lol i saw her before lip surgery her lips were thin. they are still plump. she's just trying to appear more wholesome bc she's a mom, but her lips are still fake.
She's not that important, is this Kylie because I want her to know from the bottom of my heart that she's not that great of an influence.
"Why do beauty trends have to change all the time"
Because of stuff like this.
That you pay attention to this person to define a trend is the problem. Just because you "feel pressure" doesn't mean the pressure is coming from other people. or that you have to react to it, let it go.
Nancy is much better than Kylie, anyway
https://youtu.be/kfzcZniKfioI wouldn't know since these people don't play a part in my personal tastes and choices.
I do things simply because they're "tending". I do what I like, not what others think I should do.
It’s normal to prefer fuller lips, but Kylie doesn’t set the standard on what’s in or out. I think she looks better with her lips now, fake lips look terrible unless done REALLY well and minimally.
I agree she looks better with her current lips
They’re not even that thin, not like they used to be. Her lips look cute or sweet now, her real ones looked like solid plastic lol
I hope not. Full lips are the best. People should stop following what celebrities do. Make your own decisions. Learn to use your own brain. Don't copy others.
Did I miss something or did Kylie really become the one who decides what other women should do?
i don't know why anyone would want to look like her
How about just embracing normal lips? the ones you were born with? Thin , small , big , plump whatever it is , it probably fits the frame of your face and looks good so no need for anyone to change theirs.
They were always ugly fake lips were not convincing at all you can tell who naturally has full lips and who got fillers
boy the idea that peoppe care that much for what she does makes me want to draft some suicide notes
just because kylie changed the way she looks doesnr mean the whole population will change their mind too lmak
See if I was her, I'd be afraid that I'd have stretched my lip skin and they'd be kinda flabby. Because at one point, they were massive.
Well this was predictable...
As with any ‘trend’...
The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the first few girls getting filler was ‘what’re they going to do when the wind changes direction again?’...
It’s all about making money. They’re always looking for ways to market new trends and products and the beauty industry isn’t regulated in the UK either. So however they can make you feel insecure like you need to invest in new products to correct your image is the way things tend to go. What you need to do is just let it go and find something that works that enhances your own beauty with your own style without such expense. Invest in being healthy and happy - that’s the best kind of beauty!
Well if you consider the fact that most of the population doesn't care about Kylie Jenner then I would say no. Big lips will not be considered ugly.
I dunno, it's really only women who care in the first place.
No thin lips won't be no trend cause Kylie took them out.. LMAO..
Nope, but I'm sure plenty of younger girls will follow her. There's just always going to be that percentage of people that follow what celebs do.
Beauty trends are just a figment of a social construct. They're usually ridiculous and most people just don't care if we follow them.
she still has some fillers in look at her lips before surgery. they just aren't as dramatic anymore
That fact you look to talentless whores for guidance is fucking sad.
First of its funny how you guys actually believe her... like her lips were totally non existent before... she has a plump upper lip... and if they're not fillers... then explain me what they are
I hope not, but there are always some who like to follow the perceived latest trend.
Natural beauty is better, so... Just the majority of men don't feel that way :/
Omg what does it matter what this dry & boring girl do? So because she took whatever out her lips, thin lips is in now and those with plump lip should feel bad now? 🤔🤔
Wait so is this what you mean by women feeling pressure to change? All because Kylie Jenner changed her lips?
Retarded isn't it?
Don't worry about what others find beautiful or ugly, just be yourself. You have beauty in you even if some don't see it 👍
Anything a popular celebrity does, people will follow. If wearing a big red goofy clown nose was considered "hip" or "lit", and all the cool movie stars wore them, then everyone would staring wearing clown noses.
I didn't know she did, but yes, I guess it will stop being a trend
You could always ignore the trends and rock with what you have naturally. Just a suggestion 🤷🏾♀️
Dumb people follow the Kardashians.
Dumb people follow hype.
I can't believe how rich these girls are lol... its annoying hahaha
Probably the people who got fillers to look like her will remove them. But its very silly to get a surgery to thin your lips to look like Kylie.
It could become a trend but I don't think you'd have anything to worry about. I don't consider them ugly.
There's a visible difference between fake lips and just big lips. Real lips that are big are not ugly at all. Fake lips make the person look ugly in my opinion
I have no eyebrows (keratosis polaris troficans euylothema ophrogins) and when someone teases me i say how the fuck is it my fault? Its not? Then dont blame me
Maybe. Have you seen the drastic trend changes with eyebrows lately? Women are actually getting them thickened up with tattoos now. Dumb trendy BS.
Fear and money. Your questions are all fear related. Hopefully you can overcome your fears some day, so that natural beauty can prevail. Otherwise advertisers and sponsors will continue to prey on your fears to make a little extra moolah.
I don't feel the need to look like a fake, plastic barbie doll.
I couldn't care less about what she did or did not do.
