Well for most girls I know blonde guys or browned haired guys with blue/green eyes, a muscular body and a light but tan skin are the dream. Guys are into blonde girls with blue eyes, average to large boobs, average to large butt, overall slim to slightly chubby. My preferences are pretty much the opposite of this. I like guys with brown hair and brown eyes, I don’t care about their skin colour, as long as they’re not overweight their body type doesn’t matter to me. (Although I have to admit, I do have a thing for broad shoulders and nice back muscles.) In girls I also like brown hair and brown eyes (I do also like people with other eye and hair colours, but this is what I find most beautiful in general) and I love it when a girls has thin legs and is built small in general, but again, there are plenty of girls who don’t fit this stereotype that I still find super attractive.

If you don't mind answering another question, what is generally considered to be muscular in the Netherlands: something like a swimmer's/footballer's physique or is it more like Chris Hemsworth as the character Thor?

In my country they like a skinny toned guy, with hair quite short, good sense of fashion (button down shirt, chino or dark jeans, leather shoes), tanned, dark hair and blue eyes, straight nose.

For woman oval shaped face is considered the ideal with a slim / thin straight nose, light hair and eyes, tanned skin, feminine (dress, high heels), fashion / trendy, always wear make up (even for going out 5 min), hair middle length not longer than bra strap, tall and skinny with big boobs (5'7, 110 lbs and C cup are considered ideal).

Personally I like guy with blonde hair, blue eyes, Germanic / Scandinavian face features, tall, broad shoulder / big arms, muscular, wear sporty clothes.
I also like guys with Mediterranean face features (oval face shape, olive skin tone, dark hair and dark / green eyes).

Interesting question if we look at it from a global perspective. If we collate the entire world's population's opinions on the most desirable male specimen, I'm thinking we'll find that the Global Ideal Man would be:
- White Man
- Blond Hair
- Blue Eyes
- 6'2" - 6'7"
- Broad Shoulders
- Tapered Waist (this and the trait just above forming the classic Y)
- Body Definition: Athletic, Cut, Low-Body Fat, Proportionate
- High Cheekbones
- Chiseled Jawline and Facial Features
- Some body hair is okay, especially the chest and arms and legs
- Neat and Tidy Short Hair (aka Clean cut)
- Facial Features Veering Just a Tad on the Feminine Side (just a tad)
- A Greek Nose
- Straight and White Teeth
- Ears that Don't stick Out

Of course, this is all conjecture on my part.

Just kind of plain and natural but healthy and active. Like here in Japan, I think of the traditional beauty as just a girl who keeps her natural Japanese features, like fair skin, dark hair and eyes, usually straight or wavy hair, without fancy cosmetics and colored contacts and permed and colored hair.

Like this is a very modern style popular in Japan, but I don't think of it at all resembling "traditional":
