What are the disadvantages of using concealer only without foundation?

I've never used make up before, and I just bought concealer without anything else - in hopes to cover up my acne & blemishes & scars. I didn't buy anything else, eg. foundation because it's my first time buying make up and I don't wanna get too much. I also want to go for a natural, no make up look. Is there anything wrong with just using only concealer and nothing else? Would my skin look patchy or anything?

You just need to make sure to blend everything really well, so when people look at you then don't see where you have concealer and where you don't. I advise you to experiment a few times at home and look at yourself in natural light before you leave the house. Ask a friend if they can notice anything weird. There are many make up tutorials on youtube that should help you with that.

You have to blend very well. To avoid the patchy look use a color correcting concealer. I would also recommend using a beauty blender or a cheaper beauty sponge.

you need to get full coverage concealer if you're only looking to use concealer.

Tarte shape tape concealer is super strong, lasts and does not crease.
