How can I make the Front and Back cover a wee more durable without interfering with the area in which the pages inside are connected?

I just watched a video to retrieve suggestions and it made me more comfortable with the way I was brainstorming to make my Conga. But, being the highly advanced and professional intellectual I am, it’s only appropriate I find a method to make the book sturdy. So basically how I plan on assembling the book itself is get the cover ready, put glue where the spine is, leave it for a few hours or so, and Pocca Boomdada Seemssyada, I’ve got myself MY FIRST CONGA BOOK, AAAAAAAAAHO. However, if I stop there then the cover will be JUST paper and that’s a big no no. Suggestions PLEASE?

So you have tried a case binding. My friend has a publishing distribution center in Asia. He said the case binding is the only way to go for durability. And to hire a professional.-Not very helpful...

They have publishers where you are too. They will want to know about your product too. Local used book site old guy might be helpful. You’re young and that opens doors if you can get out about little bit

Maybe you can laminate the front and back of your conga.

I was thinking that, but….. hmm… maybe I’ll need harder paper. If I were to laminate, it wouldn’t be able to bend and the glue… that just seems a wee weird
