Personal opinion. I think it's a bit weird. But if they have long hair and use it to keep it out of their face then it ain't too bad.

  Well you part right. It can melt through concrete and many MANY other substances. Burns at 2400 degrees Celsius. And when it sits for long enough it forms a friction sensitive explosive and gives off a poisonous gas.
