Is it ok to wear thong swimsuit to public pool?

I'm planning to buy thong one-piece swimsuit.
Is it ok to go to wellness or public pool where can be little children and older people?
I wore thong bikini to the beach last year and I attracted a lot of attention (which I really liked :)), and it was not a big deal, but I percieve beach and pool differently.

When you have to ask if something is appropriate then it probably isn't. Simply liking the attention you'll get from strangers at a public pool does not justify whether it is or isn't appropriate. I'm also curious why you would include the elderly and children as one of your concerns but yet in your responses to previous opinions you don't seem concerned at all about making people uncomfortable or exposing yourself to the most sensitive of all the age groups. Seems like you are fishing for attention regardless if its negative or positive. Which is another issue all in its self.

Not if there are going to be kids there. That what I would call that not proper and inappropriate. I pretty sure you are going to offend some people and the wives of husbands. You better off wearing a bathing suit that has full coverage of your behind end.

A thong bathing suit is perfect where it is an adult beach with no minor children are present.

Yes! It's completely okay! Seeing a little skin is not going to traumatize little kids and make them grow up to be murderers or something crazy like that. People were born naked, it's society that has decided it's wrong to be naked. You're going to get a lot of attention, some people will like it and some people might not, but it's your body to dress how you want and reveal what you want to.

I also happen to think it's super sexy when a girl is confident enough in her body to wear a thong in public. I remember one time when I was 16, I was swimming at the beach and there was this beautiful surfer girl wearing a black thong swimsuit. After seeing her get up and lie down on her board enough times I had become completely hard!! What I did next was a little crazy lol...

The thong is designed to reveal as much as possible to arouse sexual feelings, while not being totally nude. And that would not be appropriate at a public pool. I would enjoyed y seeing it and giving yourself u lots of attention, but that is really not a good place.

in the uk many public swimming pools banned thong swimwear because of the ammount of kids using the fascilities too and as they put it, swimming pools are for swimming but at the beach its very different as its more about getting a tan and in some cases, showing off. as a man i have to say i love looking at women in sexy swimwear ;)

In a hotel pool it's ok to me. But if it's a community pool, then people may find it not comfortable.
