Basically if you have looks that would NOT get you accepted into a modelling industry, make you Instagram famous or published on a magazine then you are not conventionally handsome or pretty.

Yes and no, it's very much a double edged sword. On one hand it gave me a huge advantage when it came to socializing, dating, getting positive attention, obtaining a favourable outcome. On the other hand I started to get a lot of negative attention as well, mostly of it came from people I know (especially other guys) who became jealous of me, but sometimes I managed to attract a bad rap from people I don't know as well. Some people just don't like attractive people.

I think some people treat you better and some people treat you worse from jealousy or sour grapes if they can’t have you. Or they assume you’re stuck up or whatever. It’s like learned helplessness. They think they don’t have a chance so they don’t even try..

Almost none of the things you describe makes someone beautiful. It is the combo of how features look and the proportioms. Someone could have all you mentioned and mot be beautiful or someone could have a not very symmetrical face and be a heavenly blessed beauty.

I'll give you my story :Yes I used to really ugly in middle school and in first years of high school. People treated me like I was invisible! Everyone was rude for no reason and guys could not even talk to me without calling me bro because they didn't want me to take it as flirting. Now today, its ridiculous how people treat me. Everyone respects me. Guys are super nice to me and polite and guys can't keep their eyes off me. Some guys are even intimidated by me (even the guys who rejected me in high school). I do still get treated bad, mostly by women because of jealousy but nothing bad as back then.

It's easier to describe it as a life of extremes. People either love you, or hate you, there's no in between. Studies have found that attractive people get jobs and promotions much easier, but also that they receive way less if not no compliments at all and may either have hard times making friends with the same sex, or have a lot of fake friends of the same sex who's only using them for status.

There are more options in life and the options are more obvious, but they are very short term. If you look good and hesitate those options will disappear in a blink, because people will always assume that you have other options and don't wanna waste their time. You'd always get free drinks or get in places free, but very few people would invest real effort into you if you didn't learn to utilize those quick windows. Can be a very lonely life.

I think the reason why they treat good-looking people better is they know you look out for yourself better. If the give you a ration of shit or don't perform right you're gonna call them on it, cuz you think more of yourself.

They do get advantages mainly from the opposite gender. Many women are distant or mean to beautiful girls, which can be a disadvantage because they deal with both genders daily. Women are less likely to give an attractive woman a free pass.

Not necessarily. I was always naturally good looking, but I never had any confidence. As a result I got bullied by other guys for being a "pretty boy", but none of the girls actually wanted to be with me because I was a pussy. And not just because of my example, but overall I think people with confidence do the best in life.

Yeah, and people will assume uglier people are ugly because they want or have a mindset that makes them ugly, not actual characteristics they don't control but that makes them being treated different by others.
