Depends on the context and what you're trying to accomplish. A well-trimmed beard communicates experience and maturity because it makes you look physically older. If you wanted to be treated with more respect and be given attention... a beard is the way to go.

If your goal is to attract the ladies... a beard CAN give you an advantage but it's largely a matter of taste. Ladies who like beards will LOVE beards. Ladies who don't like beards HATE them. I would apply beards to a case-by-case basis. Basically... if there is a SPECIFIC girl you're looking to woo, learn her taste in facial hair. If you personally like or dislike beard, you can't go wrong. Just do whichever one you want. Just make sure the woman you like also likes or dislikes beards xD

Fashion trends are always changing so I stay one step ahead of the trends by always letting certain parts grow & shaving other parts. Chicks seem to like that unpredictability of where my man fur is at.

It depends on the man ! Some men look good with a beard and some do not ! My mechanic has a mustache and he looks cute ! If a man trims both then that will be cool but some men just let their beards become all nasty and long and their mustache covers their mouths , YUKK ! Thanks

Long messy beards are not my thing. Other than that it depends how he looks with it. I would prefer to see him clean shaved first, to know how his face actually looks like.

It depends. The less handsome you are, the more I’d recommend a beard haha. I think I would look strange with a beard, it doesn’t match me. Other guys, they look weird WITHOUT one, haha. But in the case of particularly handsome dudes like the examples you posted, I don’t think I’d recommend covering up strong facial features with a beard unless it really matches your look and personal style. I guess there are different types of beards too. Some are neat, some are bushy. If you work in an office, you don’t want a bushy beard. If you’re a tradesman or an artist whatever, it doesn’t really matter.

The beard thing will come and go like anything else. 30, 35 years ago chicks thought it was hot if you had a mustache, lmfao. Then it was clean stubble. Then it was clean shaven. Then it was goatees. Now it’s beards, which had been out since the late 70s-early 80s. Here’s how it works. All you “cool kids” in your teens and 20s... watch out for the kids in kindergarten and elementary school. In what will retrospectively seem like the blink of an eye, they will become “you”, and you will become “old”, and everything you’ve been conditioned to believe is cool, is now, by default, UNcool, solely because YOU like it, and all those former kindergarteners are now “the youth”, and THEY decide what’s cool, and nothing anyone 10+ years older does could POSSIBLY be cool. And they (their parents, really) buy the most bullshit, and older, wiser people in business and marketing know this, and they say “great! Tell me my music and my clothes are lame all you want! Buy THIS instead, and we’ll laugh all the way to the bank!” So this floods the market with those products and apparent culture with these trends, reaffirming the “coolness.” And in this case, the beards, well... they’re free! In fact, you SAVE money by not buying as many razors, if any! So if you can grow it, you can have it. I don’t have any beef with beards at all, this is more commentary on the silliness of the cycle of trends in general, and the foolish reasons they take hold. Aging, un-cooler-by-the-day guy rant over lmfao.

But all I have to say is 1) guys who just let their beards grow look either like Taliban or like they are from a cabin in 1800s Appalachia. 2) Super big, carefully shaped, Hipster beards are the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I keep a beard because without it I look like a child. I'm not tall and I have a baby face so beard helps me look close to my age. 😆 Men with mature faces can pull off the clean shaven look though. People like me NEED beards.

Coming from someone who fated a few guys who were just growing in their facial hair (and wasn't too font of it... Especially when they asked "can you feel my stubble when we make out?" 😖 I don't know it was high school) to dating a guy (I am no longer with) who had a beard and had it well kept making me realize I actually like a nice beard every once in a while. I would say it depends on the girl and it depends on how the beard is managed.
