So I ask what about you? Where do you stand?
Do you prefer to wear a clean shaved face or beard?
So I ask what about you? Where do you stand?
Mine's a Full beard,
a shaved face is not clean, studies have proven a fully bearded face is more hygienic than a clean shaven one. [look it up if you don't believe me]
And bearded men look more attractive because their face is always moisturized as facial hair act as roots (like those of trees) and retain water and supply it to the face skin.
I can never afford to waste 15-30 mins of my time daily, just to remove something that distinguishes me from women and children, and is gonna grow back again the next day, waste of precious time and energy.
Also I believe an angel in heaven loses its wings whenever a beard is lost to shaving...
95% of my sexual partners/ex etc fondle my beard b4 & after rigorous lovemaking, some have even offered to braid and decorate it
My bearded face makes people think before they speak in front of me, some get scared, some like it...
I was traveling in a train once, a couple with their toddler were sitting opposite to me in the same compartment.
The parents kept scolding the child for running around, doing acrobatics and being a naughty toddler, without success.
The kid was thoroughly excited for being in a train for the first time and couldn't stay in one place for more than a minute.
Finally they both dragged me into trying to scare him by telling him the this bearded uncle will be angry if you don't listen to us, but the kid just looked at me and smiled as if saying " you're harmless, what could you ever do to me "
That was the day I realised that the brainwashing of media has instilled pogonophobia (fear of facial hair) in the minds of 85% adults today.
i have had a proper shave three times in the last two years... most the time i trim so its stubbley but to be fair this does seem to be a fashion of very recent times... most guys seem to have facial hair nowadays but back in the 80s it was only bikers
I like men with facial hair but I do understand that it's not for everyone. Traditional British style is clean shaved. It's almost like a sloppy look if you have facial hair in some homes/work environments
tradition since when though... in the beginning of the last century a moustache was the norm and infact mandatory in the raf early days... its all just an endless fashion loop. i like to be clean shaven sometimes because it makes me look younger but ironically the young woman i was chasing said she preferred the stubble lol
Like office attire is suit and clean shaved. A moustache for years was the most men could get away with and that was a man in his 40's almost like a sign of maturity. Lol
Haha omg yesss. You're really digging out the old history now!

đđđ I do sometimes think I was born in the wrong era. I think my dad was born the best time in 57 he got to see the world change so much and got to enjoy living it too x
100% but I was only born then, I still remember how happy and friendly people used to be.
There was such a clash and incorporation of culture. It was really quite a interesting time to be alive. We really wouldn't be where we are today had it not been for the 90s
Haha... Yea I know what you mean. I'm a 90z baby. My hearts to soft for this modern world.
Haha I started packing when you first told me about it đ

Haha OK đđđž
I love beards, i think some men look 10x better with beards depending on their face shape. I mean no hate, but if a guy has a softer jawline and a chubbier face, i think a beard fits them better than clean shaven or with stubble.
Another thing, I love beards, I love the neat and clean cut beards. I had an ex who would periodically shave and then grow out his beard. He was very handsome and looked attractive with stubble, clean shaven, and full beard... BUT he never took care of his beard, it always looked bushy and messy. If i could link a picture, i would!
Loved your response, If you weren't anon I'd have definitely followed and befriended you
My boyfriend had a beard and he trims it and looks after it so it is always clean.
It makes him a lot more manly looking and he looks older which is a huge turn on, he is of an ethnic background so his bread is think and dark black/brown.
He is really hot and I am really happy for him to keep his beard, it makes him more attractive
And I'm happy for you đđ

Beards look terrible on most men
I prefer a stubble, but its up to him whether he likes it or not. Clean shaved looks good as well. Designer looks hella weird. I love the 5'o clock shadow look. Kevin Jonas can look hot with any style... exclet beards hahah
Why do you think the ugliest Jonas brother is the most attractive
@PardontheMasculinity why do you care? Beauty is SUBJECTIVE đ
@tatianamay whatever. You have bad taste
@PardontheMasculinity fuck off
Everyone tells me I look terrible clean shaven... Even only moustache/goatee look was hated by family and friends... But since I grew a Full beard things& opinions changed a lot
I used to grow my beard out a lot, because I shaved it everyday and I wanted to see how thicker it's become. Eventually I had to shave them for my girlfriend because she wouldn't kiss me. Every time she kissed me she's she said it felt like she was kissing the rug. To be honest I don't know why people have facial hair, dreadlock extensions, girl hair all the way down to their knees. People are taking the Rapunzel story a little too far that they're letting all that hair grow that far.
I have a Van Dyke - not really a "full on beard" but that would be the closest of the available answers.
Van Dyke
How is that different from a mustache with a goatee?
Thank you!
I have a clean cut, I prefer it that way and it's a habit...
but I don't mind a stubble, it feels good too... and it looks good too, or so they say, I've only had it because my girlfriends liked it and prefer it
I've grown beads just to see how it is and out of curiosity and I just don't care for them... lol
Poll
1. Shaved
2. Light Stubble
3. Light designer stubble
4. Light Stuble with sideburns?
5. Beard lol
Lmao no justice for normal stubble, beards everything else inbetween I see.
Personally, I love a man with a well maintained beard. The fuller the better.
It was more a generalisation tbh. The moment you start getting specific then it becomes political
Clean but, as I never see anyone except one friend every couple weeks, I just never bother very often. Last time I shaved, about a month ago, I started with just my chin and mustache and noticed how much I looked like my great great grandfather, they way and kinda liked it so, I left the pork chops, for a while.
Both beard (as much as I can) and clean shaved are far too much effort, so I just hover between âtoo longâ and âminimum setting the shaver thing allows me toâ. So I just let it grow until I think itâs too long, shave it to the minimum I can (manual razor is too annoying) and then just let it grow.
Oh do i have to say it 🤣🤣🤣. Ok then! I am triple E 😝
Pahaha yours is out of this world. Its seriously impressive
Oh thank you dear đ
You only need to shave if you need to put on a gas mask, which is why they always made you shave in the military since WW1. Shaving and being "clean cut" is a fashion trend, not a gauge of your well-being. Before disposable razors, shaving was not an everyday thing.
I found I get more attention from women when I'm clean shaven.
But I've also found i get more respect when I let the facial hair grow in a bit. So I'm always torn between the to. Basically I just let it grow till the whiskers start annoying me then I shave it all off.
Clean shaved. A few guys can pull off stubble or a beard but most of the time it looks like they're homeless
Not if they're dressed properly
I have to be clean shaven. It sucks too because my facial hair grows so fast that I literally have to shave every single day. Otherwise I would have a huge beard by now if it wasnât for work.
Here it is becoming winter time and I just shaved my beard off. I have always liked to clean cut look but like with everything else in life I like to change it up
I like it clean shaved or stubble because I don´t have much hair in the face. I wouldn´t be able to have a full beard because I have kind of empty spots where I don´t grow hear.
Not a huge fan of long term beards, gives the impression a weak chin is being hidden. Mixing it up between all is nice.
Either clean shaven or stubble. I donât like the feeling of having a beard or mustache. Itâs dry and uncomfortable and I donât know the proper way to keep it.
Beard just covers the jaw line so it looks weird. Stubble is there but it doesnât cover the jawline so itâs decent. Clean shaven shows off the jawline of you got low body fat and good bone insertions along with the high cheekbones so that takes the cake out of all these choices. And beards are such a drag to maintain.
I wear mine like this
Suits you
Thank you so much
I dont use blades anymore. Too much work for nothing. The closest my electric shaver will do is a very close stubble
My grandfather would be almost 100 now by the way. And my other grandfather almost 110. Their grandparents were alive during the civil war. That's crazy. Grandparents really put time and history into perspective.
For real... Do you have photos of them at all?
Yeah I met one of them too. Both were WW2 soldiers but one of them died in the 60s long before I was born.
I prefer to be clean shaven. I'm used to it from being in the military. Having anything more than a stubble is irritating to me, but even a stubble can be annoying.
