Why is wearing revealing clothes a big deal?

Because there is something inside of us that says "appropriate or inappropriate", and that may be different based upon our culture, where we are at.

I think the root issue is that... there is no way around that women's bodies are attracted to men, and we look. That look can trigger feelings of attraction and desire, likely a strong reason they are wearing those clothes. Some women will simply "feel good" looking sexy, because women feel good when they are desirable.

Men looking may cause problems with their spouse, cause them to go astry due to their weakness and desires, causes problems in society. It's all an issue around the failing of human beings.

Why can't men walk around with their big tool hanging out in public? In team meetings, why can't the man in chrage jump on the table swinging... he having the biggest tool of them all... and shouting out commands being the human in charge, with his naked appendage hanging out? Something inside of us says that is not appropriate. Dig into the emotions, you'll find the answer... probably shame.

I know some people would like to have meetings like that, that's not the point... lol:)!

It's not like adults haven't seen everything before, of either gender! Europe has a lot of rather racy, exposed commercials!! Does it really help sell the product, or do people just like seeing beautiful naked people? What's wrong with that? :)

Because most women who wear revealing clothes don't do it for comfyness, even tho it's what they will desperately try to convince you.
They do it for looks and attention. And attention-whoring isn't really attractive.

All people like positive attention. Women and men usually wear revealing clothes for two reasons, not necessarily both at the same time:
- To endure the hot weather
- To try and attract attention
When talking about specifically revealing clothes like you show in the picture, a woman in such case wants to feel confident in public and wear something that will gain a lot of attention. Men do this too.

For me, it can be a big deal, because if a woman feels she needs to place all her wares in public view, then I'd guess she either has low self esteem and needs the attention, or she wants to attract numerous guys, with no particular desire to have a real relationship.
