Body shaming is not cool wether its against skinny girls or chubby girls, with that being said the truth is that for one girl that is skinny shamed there 100 girls that are fat shamed.
I'm very skinny and I get it a lot people say stuff like they joke and say go eat something or thats a. Real woman a lot of people call a kid or a broom just because I'm skinny
I think body shaming is never okay. Everyone is unique and every person's body has a unique shape and style. Its unfortunate that we attack what we think is unnatural or uncommon (doesn't fit in).
if your body is unhealthy, i don't see why it's wrong for people trying to make you notice so you can correct that. this pc bullshit society has framed it into "shaming"... it's not shaming. maybe it's "blaming" cause well who's responsible for your bodyweight?
It goes both ways. There will always be people hating on all body types. Body positivity is supposed to be about loving bodies of all shapes but because being thin has been the ideal "beauty" steamed for so long that everyone thinks they have to hate on it to show that larger women are "accepted".
The second the fatties got their way around society into thinking "Fat phobia" is a thing. It's called double standards.
Why should women on the skinny side of healthy be shamed by women who can't even take care of themselves? Who are demanding the world to find them attractive instead of putting the work into it. And yes it's women. The body positivity movement couldn't give less of a crap about fat men, it's pretty much a feminist thing.
Are you putting words in their mouths? Did you just google for a picture with a skinny/"other woman" comparison? Or is that something you would say in such a situation? So, why is it ok for you to subliminally body shame?
I don't care, either way. People have different bodies, their decision what they want to do with themselves.
Nope this was a swimsuit website in the comments section. Women would praise the company for showing it on a "real woman" and then lose their shit if the next model they use is skinny.
And what research do you base that bold claim on? Have you been both skinny and overweight for long periods of time? Even then it would still only be your experience, which is limited to a very small sample size.
everything is about division under th system we live... they're both beautiful women... they just need to love themselves and we need to treat them as such... and forget th negative things society preach...
That defines about all the fat girls in my high school. I’m not a size 0 but pretty thin compared to the fatties ( what me and my mom used to call them!) and I remember they would get mad every small thing e. g. that time I accidentally bumped a girl she was about to kill me
@brunettegirlxx i noticed fat people are either really cool or they are douche bags. Not much in between. It all depends on how they handle their insecurity.
I think both are a bit unhealthy.. to skinny can be as unhealthy as too fat... a healthy body fat percentage according to your height and weight is essential for longevity. So it's not what they say in essence, it the intention behind it. That's important!
Now, personally, my preference, if I had to be attracted to one, I'd probably go with the one that had a little more on her, just because I think girls that are too skinny are supper unattractive.. but that's just me
it started when all women agreed with and cheered for all those feminists and SJW's. i mean most of those SJW's are old and fat. what did you women expect? when you give all the power to a bunch of fatties, who do you think they're going to attack? the answer is not fat people

Maybe body shaming is just wrong period.
But this is GaG. Things kind of work backwards in here.
Women shame women in general. It's the nature of women.
Some men shame women too, it's the nature of weak men. lol

She is correct. When swimsuit magazines use a fat woman, the words “finally a real woman” “men don’t like bones” “anorexic” are used
@VaIiant that's some kind of silly bravado. You don't have to take it seriously.
It is not silly bravado 😂 you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. They’re being entirely serious
@VaIiant and yet you give the naysayers all this credit and take them seriously. Do they obviously know what they're talking about?
JUst because they’re talking out of their ass doesn’t mean they’re not talking
@VaIiant toughen up ;)
Dude you make no sense
@VaIiant If you're not thinking along, it might seem that way.
I find both attractive.. some people just love running others down or being mean.
It isn't. It never was. But slender women still don't experience what bigger women do.
And what research do you base that bold claim on? Have you been both skinny and overweight for long periods of time? Even then it would still only be your experience, which is limited to a very small sample size.
@Wharvey98 Yes, actually, I have. But I also follow sociological studies regarding this topic for the work I do.
It has never been ok. People just have more options of a public platform to share their opinions.
Body shaming is not okay, no matter who it is done towards.
everything is about division under th system we live... they're both beautiful women... they just need to love themselves and we need to treat them as such... and forget th negative things society preach...
People just need to grow the fuck up and stop shaming every person they see
Jealously. I dated a skinny girl who had this problem.
Angry fat girls (and guys) are the worst. They are loud, bitter, bullying, jealous and sexually frustrated.

If people could just not body shame anyone that’d be great
It would, wouldn’t it. But sadly western society was built on degrading and stealing from others, and that does t seem likely to change any time soon.
