What do you think of asymmetrical earrings?

We are used to wearing earrings that look identical/symmetrical but nowadays I see some women wearing earrings that look different. The purpose of earrings is to bring symmetry to the face but asymmetrical earrings kind of defeat the purpose, but people have pulled off facial asymmetry or even on clothing and jewelry, so why not earrings too? They can make quite a statement. But then, someone might think you're just a goofy person and put the wrong earrings on if they look too different 😂😛

I like them, they can look quite good.

I'm totally okay with it.

I'm usually a symmetric person and my behaviors followed by this trait. However, i embrace differs. I believe such approaches are creative and a symbolization of thinking out of the box.

Because realistically, there is no limit or a law to make us do it in a certain way. It's entirely cultural appropriation that we make ourselves get use to by practicing it over the years. So doing it differently against the usual norm is creative, courageous and interesting to me. It's a different aspect of the same subject and i'm fine with it.

Humans are attracted to symmetry. It's why crooked noses, eyes that aren't equally distanced from the bridge of the nose, spine deformations and other similar asymmetries are considered not attractive. It doesn't have to be perfect symmetry, but it has to be close. This is why asymmetrical earring are not attractive to most people and why they simply find them somehow "off".

most asymmetrical earrings I've seen still look quite similar, so I think they look nice, they make kind of a set sometimes. one ear key, other ear the lock. one ear moon, the other ear stars, that's cute. if they are too different, maybe even different colors and styles it could just look untidy. still depends on the rest of the outfit, it might be a good match.

I think they look good, provide more variation and good to have more repertoire. I love when girls wear Jewellery, and love when they wear earrings. It should definitely add more to variation.

I value non punctured ears of females greater than I do punctured ears of females.
