Slides: Socks/No Socks?

Should slides be worn with socks or without socks? As a guy, I find it hideous to wear flip-flops so I prefer to go out with slides in the summer, but I notice that a lot of guys actually wear it with socks especially to the library, which I personally find very weird! What do y’all think?

I am going against the norm in my opinion they should be worn without socks. I understand that the reason they wear socks in the first place is to keep the slides from sliding off. Anyway always see guys wear them with socks and I am constantly telling my husband I think it looks hideous. To me it's like wearing socks with flip flops.

That’s exactly what I do. I never ever worn them with socks. It looks very creepy, or maybe I’m just comfortable showing my feet in public on the contrary to a lot of dudes out there. 😂
